Day 1: Saturday - March 2, 2013
Germination began - two Skywalker Kush seeds (feminized), and one random. The seeds are germinating on damp paper towels in small tupperware containers. The containers are in a drawer on top of a heating pad (Average temp = 78 degrees). There is plenty of moisture.
Day 2: Sunday - March 3, 2013
All three of the seeds split. I added a few drops of water to each container to keep up the moisture content.
Day 3: Monday - March 4, 2013
Today one of the Skywalker seeds broke out of the seed, and pushed the cotyledons out about a 1/4 inch. The other Skywalker seed and the "freebie" are bulging at the split and the cotyledon is ready to push out. I added a couple drops of water to each paper towel. Temperature average is continuing to stay at 78 degrees.
Day 4: Tuesday - March 5, 2013
I transferred the seeds to rock wool cubes today. The Skywalker seed, with growth, is now over a 1/2 inch long, and the other two are just about ready to pop out of the seed. The rock wool cubes were rinsed and left to soak in warm water. No pH kit yet, so the water was not balanced - simply warm well water. I will be checking the seedlings every 12 hours to ensure there is enough moisture.

Day 5: Wednesday - March 6, 2013
The Skywalker seed with growth has pushed through the rockwool cube a half inch and has shed it's shell on the way out. This is by far the best of the 3 seeds. If this seedling continues to grow the best, I will take my clones from that one. The other two seeds have pushed toward the top of the rockwool cubes, but are still about an eighth of an inch from popping out. All three cubes are staying very moist, and the heat and humidity are perfect for seedling growth. Temp today is 80 degrees.

Day 6: Thursday- March 7, 2013
The one Skywalker seed is growing exponentionally, growing to over two inches over the last 24 hours. The other Skywalker seed has pushed out of the rockwool, but is still housed by the seed. The random seed is almost to the top of the rockwool cube. I've also put a light on it today - One 23w cfl. I also removed the heating pad from the environment.

Day 7: Friday, March 8, 2013
My equipment won't arrive until next Thursday, and I need to get my seedlings into there system ASAP! I'm going to try and keep it alive and growing for the next week and hope for the best. The one Skywalker seed seedling is getting its first set of leaves and the other Skywalker seed about an inch above the rockwool, and a day or two away from shedding its shell. The random seed still hasn't breached the rockwool. After I took the below picture, I added the heating pad back under the tupperware. I think the seedlings need it. It really helps the raise the temp and create humidity within the micro environment. Seedlings love it. I checked everything around 11pm before I went to sleep and the one seedling has straightened up and grew (almost to the top of my DIY propagation container.. aka tupperware). The other Skywalker seed is over and inch now, and the seed will probably fall off overnight. Adding the heating pad back to the enviornment helped tremendously. Temp is 88 and there is moisture all inside the micro environments, not to mention the larger Skywalker seedling isn't tilting now.
I've been doing this on my phone, so pictures will come tomorrow once I'm back on my computer.
