here are a few shots of my temp setup. im still finishing my room a 2.5x1.5x1.9mtr room. i'll be running a pot on pot drip system with an aerator in the bottom pot which makes it a cross between a drip and bubbler system. currently there still in rockwool cubes in one of my flood and drain clone systems under a single 400hps. eventually there will be four 400's one for each plant.any ideas or comments ....

4x400 is a ton of heat, make sure your rez temps are under 75F, they look very good and happy, but in the first pix i cant tell do you have discoloration between the veins? also get those power cords and timers away from that rez tank

cheers for the reply .yeah the four 400's do put out a bit of heat but ive got a 10" ducted super quiet inline fan that can totally extract
the room in about a minute or two , add to that its winter and its not a problem ,theres not really yellowing between the veins but there is adiscouloration on the margins as well as slight cupping all the markers are spot on i can only think its the lack of root space there still in 2.5inch cubes , i can only assume is moisture stress. never had this problem before but normally there in huge tubs by now.

check the PH, not the rez's PH, but try to get some runoff from the rockwool cubes, they should have salt built up by now, cubes will usually have a different PH from the nutrient solution from over time

cheers i'll give that a go i have a pen but it jumps all over the pace wasnt used forv12 months relying on liquid drops colour chart

have run out of gh grow so haven't done a res change in a while but just can't slow them down. been real lazy and haven't been working on the flower room as well . the plants are as good as in the light .ive uploaded 2 pics one today and the other 13 days ago, what do you think?can you tell if theyve grown at all?

not yet man .ive got another room on the way 2.5mtr long by like 1.8 wide 1.9 high. i'll put each plant in one of my large tub on tub drip system and then pinch and bend each plant down so the branches all reach out horizontally , they should only be a foot or so high once ive finished plus the tubs.

cheers . yeah grown many times before always had great success . stopped the last couple of years for some stupid reason just finishing sheeting and insulating the room so shes nice and cosy for the plants as soon as thats done in they go.

after hitting the lights a week or so back i had to leave them with no lights for like 3 days till i figured something out in the end i used a 10cm shorter reservoir and managed to make up a rig to raise the shelf holding the light to about 10cm above the top rung .that gave me an extra 20cm well like 3 day s later theyve hit the lights again so i turned the drain grid the plants sit on upside down giving me a bit extra and bent them down about 15 cm anyway heres some pics. try not to cringe my babies have been massacred.

heres a shot of the room ive building almost there just sound proofing .sheeting with gyprock and villaboard. and sorting out the intake and exhaust better i also have dug a hole outside of the room which i'm putting a 80 litre reservoir in but i still have to tunnel through to the room so i can link it to the plant tubs and other reservoirs , the purpose of this extra reservoir will be to make it possible to work on the nutrient (top up, check ph ,ec etc) without having to open up the room.meaning lights on or off i can still work on the system.

looks like you got a friggin corn field in there. they are gonna be BIG when flowering is done, maybe a lil pruning action at the bottom of the plants for the sake of air flow under the canopy?

corn field aye . i dont mind the sound of that ,been working on the room (pictured above ) all arvo so im hesitant to chop them down knowing soon theyll be bent right down anyway and airflow want be a problem only the pounds of dope i'll be forced to smoke, itll be hard work but ive been in training over a decade now so hopefully ill be able to handle all that skunk ahhhhhhhhhhhh white widow mmmmmmmmmmmmm and the homegrown fantaseeds strain which smells fruity as all hell will also test my limits but what can i say other than, bring it on.

attached most of the wooden frame to brickwork today , im screwing the metal studs to them rather than the bricks just to space it out a bit more so i can fit all that insulation and sound proofing in. once i finish all that i ve got to tunnel through to my new reservoir which is outside the room . paint the gyprock sort out the little bits and peices exhaust intake etc and youll all see one of the sickest rooms out there . it want have the most lights but i will have all the trimmings.
