was skating in a garage that says no skateboarding. but have never had this happen so am wondering about it.
i got told to leave by some random guy that worked at the buisiness that has the garage. he wasnt a security guard. and i was like no thanks man ill stay till someone actually makes me leave cause he has no power in security or anything like that he worked a desk. so i begin to skate again and then all of a sudden this guy grabs me off my board while i am skating like a bear hug style grab. so i yell at him and stuff saying he cant grab me cause hes not security or anything. and then security comes out after i begin to skate again. i tell the security guy what happened with the guy grabbing me and the first things he said was "Oh no" like under his breath tho. is that illegal to do if you are a worker? can you grab a kid off of his board since he didnt listen to you and leave? cause they threatened to call the cops on me but wouldnt he get introuble also?

i'm not lawyer man, that's for sure, but firstly, you were definitely in the wrong by trespassing on someones property, especially considering that they had signs posted saying no skating... sorry about that part..
we used to have a few garages we'd skate in in winter time to get in out of the cold, glad i never got attacked, lol..

as far as can the dude put his hands on you even though you were trespassing, i've no clue, lol.. doesn't sound cool t oo me, but not worth the headache of doing anything about imo.. find a new spot to skate, or go back after hours when no workers are around to hassle you would be my opinion.. :)

i was skating maybe 10 mph so if i ran in to him i didnt think he would stay up cause he looked kinda old. today was the second day ive skated there during the day since it was real hot and sunny compared to days before at the park. i was tresspassing but i dont think a worker has the right to assualt someone. a security guard probably has the right to if they feel the need to but most of them probably smoke weed and are calm about shit like this. the other guy seemed like he was looking for trouble since he saw me skating for about 10 min before he did something. also hes lucky im not a violent person cause i know many people who would of hit the dude back for grabbing them.

it's private property so if they don't want anyone skateboarding there then that's their choice. They have signs posted and you still did it anyway? That's definitely trespassing and they could probably get you for damaging their property too. you were 100% in the wrong and you're lucky they didn't call the police and press charges.

That was pure D assault. you can't put your hands on another person in aggression. Guy shoulda called the cops.

i get where you're coming from, i really do, i used to skate back in the day and had surely gotten hassled plenty of times for doing nothing more than skateboarding at the time..
my question to you is this though.. even if dude was completely out of his rights, what can or are you willing to do about it now ?? you did the right thing by not touching the guy back and just leaving imo, so why fret on it now?? yah, dude was an asshole, maybe when you get a bit older and start working for the man in a job you hate, you might be able to understand where the dude was coming from..
i'm not trying to make excuses for dudes behavior as no one should touch another person like that imo, i'm just trying to say that's it's not really worth doing anything more at this point... you could call the cops, yah, but getting the cops involved in anythathing is more aggravation than it's worth in the long wrong.. who know's, you could possible even get a tix for trespassing and this dude could get off scott free, that would really piss me off more, lol...
i'd just say let it go m8, no need to make anything more out of than what it was... just my $.02 worth..

well all i was doing is flat ground tricks and mannys on the little raised parts of it. i didnt grind or ruin any property.

yeah i didnt plan on doing anything but was just wondering for the future incase something like this happenes and they threaten to call the cops ill be somewhat fine with it.
i just hope someone he works for gets him introuble.
didnt even notice you had a powell avatar thats sick haha

skateboarding is one of those things that really attract attention, and some people will act like its their job to bitch at you even if it isn't. obese americans mostly :) very few obese skateboarders but there are hefty weedsmokers occasionally. If you complained he might get fired

that would be nice if that happened to him. why would you even touch another person who you dont even know anything about.

some people are fucked up like that in this world.. :( i like to think that the dude will get his back in the way of karma.. something bad will happen to the guy, you can rest assured on that..
and told you i was an old skater, lol.. :)

Nobody likes punks who dont show respect for other peoples property.

I would have shot anyone tresspassing on my property, and of course, a sign would have been posted, "trespassers will be shot on sight"

haha yeah i like to think of karma also.

im not a kid the guy was alot older then me and im not old so to him i am a kid

Usually for there to be assault , you need to have the intent to commit harm . Tresspassing on their property and refusing to leave will get you shot or a lot more than grabbed in some places . Be glad that was all that happened to you .

Just think had you not been skating where it was posted not to, you never would have got man handled!

Quit fucking trespassing on other people's property!
You were asked to leave and you had to be a dick and smart off to him? He should've called the cops and had you arrested, would you have preferred that? Security guards are not cops, they don't have any more power than any other person at that business, except for intimidation. The guy was wrong. Legally it was battery but since you were not hurt, he wouldn't get in much trouble because you were inciting the incident. You basically told him, "make me" like the punk ass that you sound like. You have some nerve to imply that you were somehow in the right and now you want the other guy in trouble. Just forget it and move on. Are you even 18?

yeah if you are asked to leave and refuse you can be 'escorted' off the property as long as it's reasonable. sorry kid.

technically you cannot be charged with trespassing just because somebody feels like it, a person has to tell the police they want to press trespass charges...that person is usually the owner or tennant in a property....

and unless you are in a home in certain states you cannot just shoot somebody, regardless of what the redneck 'shoot on sight' ignoramous says....

shooting a skater in a parking lot just because he's skating will result in murder charges.....

yeah, but the sign helps...

and i believe you, this justice system protects the stupidest people out there like robbers, politicians, rappos, SKATEBROADS, and whole heap of stupid people...

Im sorry, bud, if you are trespassing on my property, i have the right to shoot you if you are a threat to me or my homestead... i dont know what state you from
