Cheif: a lot of what you're asking depends on the strain you're growing. When almost any strain starts to flower you can usually expect a growth spurt. This is why you want the upgraded seven holes models of the Aerogardens for what we're growing.
How many plants do you have in there? You might want to consider pruning some of the bigger fan leaves to get more light down to the lower portions of your plants and aimed reflectors can get you buds all the way down to the planting deck.
Roots should be free of odor and I like them to be white. This is where you check for algae. A cap full of hydrogen peroxide in your weekly nutes change can help keep it that way. Make sure your unused holes are sealed off. Light entering the reservoir can cause real headaches.
If they grow hanging balls it's a boy but if they grow upright white hairs at the upper nodes it's a girl. If you get both on separate plants you have the capability of producing seeds for future crops and if you're growing an expensive strain that can be a blessing. If you get balls and hairs on the same plant you have a problem.
How do you like your X-nutrients? Do I see some yellow patches in your pictures?
So far it looks good. Don't forget to change your nutes weekly and adjust your pH daily. I hope this helps. Hank
