sinsemilla question

I just harvested some sinse and have trimmed it and hung it in a place that is dark, with good air flow. If I dry it slow, do I need to still cure it?? A few buds have dried already, it's been 4 days. They still have that nice, skunky smell.

the cure is key to bring out your herbs true quality.. let those nuggets get crispy on the outside then jar them up.. 100 percent necessary. your "Skunky" smell will start smelling like the chronic by the creek as biggie says.. and dont forget to open your jars for a min and stir your buds or else mold can ruin all you got.

Curing has to take place in an airtight environment, otherwise it wouldnt be curing, it would just be drying. The idea of curing is to get the small amount of moisture left in the middle of the buds to diffuse out to the dry edges, over time, bringing with it the smell and flavour. If you put it in paper bags the bud will just dry out more and more until that skunky smell is completely gone, by then it will probably be too late to cure...
