thanks bakatarre for your help i swear i have been searching alot just wish i could show the history for past couple weeks on google and i apologize for being such a simpleton
height around 100cm give or take some
i assume thats an average for all plants and good to start with and adjust later
the brightness of it would you make it brighter during flowering and a bit darker for veg?
that i kinda figured just didnt know if soils varied from pot plants to others and if nutrition was different
as for medium i plan to use clay pellets or lava rock
as for the drip i admit that was really stupid considering lava rock and clay pellets would allow water to flow straight through with no blockage or chance to clog
also germinating with damp papertowels 3 days place in rockwool cube till 14inces in height then put in flowering room eyeball water nutrient and room temp and wait for harvest? this sound right in a nutshell
No need to apologize, it's just that the way you title your thread, and the questions you ask, make it seem as though you simply picked out a seed, had it mailed to you, and decided to start here.
You'll be better off next time, starting out with something like 'I've researched this, but I am confused with the different answers I've found."
Also, no matter where you read, or even here, you will ALWAYS get many different answers, as so many ways work for so many people.
There is no ONE right way.
The main thing is to study what works for others, pick something that sounds like you want to try it, and see if it works.
If it doesn't work, then either modify that, or try something else.
I'd bet money someone will follow me, and give you some different tips and ideas, or point you somewhere else to read.
.
Anyway.......
Height is over 3 feet tall?!?!?!?!?!?
If you're flowering that, use a 12/12 light schedule.
Give as much light as you can, no matter what your light schedule is.
NEVER remove light from your plants, you will only lose final yield, and increase grow time.
If you're using rockwool to germ, be sure you research those also.
If not mistaken, I believe you are supposed to rinse and PH those to 6.0 before using, IDK, I've never used them.
Being your first grow, I would suggest getting used to growing in soil FIRST before trying anything different.
Soil is much more forgiving for beginners.
Look for nutes (ferts) with even numbers all across the board, meaning good N, P, and K for vegging.
Continue feeding those nutes until a couple weeks after you change your light schedule, then switch to a nute with lower N than P and K, as you don't want quite so much N in flowering.
Something like MG All Purpose, or Tomato Food, or Schultz's is fine for beginners until you get serious and want to try the plant specific stuff.
