Simple hlg600h question

Hey I ordered this hlg600h-42b and I'm a confused about the outputs. Regular drivers only have a dimmer and power out but this has 2 power outs and something called rc

I was wondering what rc was, and if I'm supposed to hook both power out up or just pick one (seems like a really dumb question but I'm just making sure lol)

Because of the current output, that driver needs two pairs of conductors to safely carry the amperage. The RC leads are for an external on/off switch for the driver. If you look at the spec sheet under Function it describes how it works.

Thank you very much. I read the data sheet but I couldn't figure it out or maybe I'm just dumb lol

This electrical stuff isn't my forte Haha

So if you were powering, say 16 strips, you'd do 2 separate parallel strings of 8?

FUNCTION
REMOTE ON/OFF CONTROL
Power on : "High" >2 ~ 5V or Open circuit Power off : "Low" <0 ~ 0.5V or Short circuit
600W Constant Voltage + Constant Current LED Driver
HLG-600H

Looks like if the rc leads are shorted together then the unit turns off and it turns on when the leads are disconnected.

yeah i'm definitely just leaving that alone for now lol. Might be cool in the future to add a switch but i'm not doing some crazy setup and it's in a small room, my timer will work good enough for my on and off lol
