Simple Grow Method, Good Results

Thought I would share this pic with you, and the method I use to grow.

It's the most simple hydroponic method I've used, and I've had the most success with it.

Simply fill a 3 litre pot with rockwool. Put a 1-2cm layer of hydrotron (clay pebbels) over the top of the rockwool, just to stop the light from turning the rockwool green. Water them every 2-3 days or whenever the pots feel light. When you water them, give them a good soaking, until you start to get a bit of run off out the bottom of the pot. I use Canna nutes. Canna Vega for veg and Canna Flores for flowering.

During veg, you will probably only have to water then every 5-7 days, but once flowering starts you will notice the pots will dry out quicker, and they will need watering every 2-3 days.

And that's it. No plumbing, no timers, no reservoirs, nothing.

This is the kind of results I get below. I grow my plants to about 1 feet tall in veg, then turn to flowering. They end up about 2.5 feet tall in total and I usually get about 3 oz of each plant dry. I grow 4 at a time all under 1 x 600w HPS cool tube light. This one is white widow.

What you are doing is what I call "non-recoverable hydroponics". I've used it myself; it can work very well.

Of all the complex methods I've tried, this simple method has been the best producer for me time and time again. Those are some NICE sized buds in your avatar pic.

Those are some fat colas you guys have! I have to give this a try, alot cleaner for disposal purposes then soil....Nice!

hey hum? how did you get those colas so plump and juicy? what strain is that?

Not sure about hum, his buds are bigger than mine But the secret for me was a 600w HPS light. I mucked around for a while with LEDs and CFLs, but never got good results. Since moving to HPS, the bud really fattens up.

good set up, but couldnt that ww go another 1-2 weeks, be more swelling and less green.

It does look a bit underdone in the photo I agree (bad lighting), but 80% of the hairs were red and the trichs looked ready, and its was in flowering for 12 weeks. And it smokes wonderfully
