simple germination question

is it ok to put the seed in the soil when it cracks and you can see a white tail starting to form? or should one wait until theres a full on white tail before planting

I've planted a few with very small tips pertruding and have had no issues sprouting seedlings. I actually have a few I just popped last week. Go for it bro...
