This is my 2nd attempt at this closet grow, I had to pull the others up for various reasons. They are 6 days old here. Right now I just have 2 6500K CFL's on these babies and also 2 4ft fluorescent bulbs, although the 4 footers are raised pretty high up right now since I still have to go out and buy more chain. While I'm out getting that I'll also be getting probably around 12 more CFL's and some mylar. I have them in MG Moisture Control soil. I know people all have their different opinions on Miracle Grow but I thought I'd give it a shot. The one in the 4th picture seems to be a bit ahead of the others. Let me know what you guys think. :hump:

welcome to riu. fyi, i used miracle grow for veg on my first grow and am very happy with the result. switched to blooming fert when i changed to flowering. as for the light, the site recommends about 40 watt per square ft. for flourescent/cfl.

Cool, I'll have to look into that blooming fert. some more. By the way, what lighting did you personally use for veg/flower?

Thought I'd post up some pics of how they're doing today. 8 days old, I think they're lookin' pretty good.

i used a 600 watt hps, will switch to mh next time for veg. btw, i made a math error on the watts/sq ft. you should shoot for 75 watts/sq ft for cfl or 50 watts/sqft for hps.

Took a few new pics today of the girls. Today they are 15 days old and are looking pretty good.

I stuck another little fan in there just now, have them both on high so the plants are getting some pretty decent airflow.

Keeping a pretty consistent 77-79 degree temp.

19 days old now and still going strong. Temp staying at 77-80 and I have the fans still blowing on them to strengthen the stems/stalks so all is well. Here are 5 pics of how they're looking today. The plants may look a TAD droopy in these due to the fact that I sprayed them down with water right before taking them, so the leaves were being weighed down by the water. I took a close-up of one of the leaves in the 3rd pic, to ask you guys if you think this plant could possibly be sativa? I'm not a pro or anything quite yet but it looks to me like those leaves are pretty spaced apart and they're quite skinny. You can also see this in the 4th pic, the pot in the back.

What do you guys think?

everything looks great so far. kinda looks like indica to me but i don't know for sure. if it ends up 6 ft tall you were right.

Today they are a few days short of being a month old. I'm pretty sure they can be solidly identified as 3 indica, and 1 sativa. Hopefully at least 3 of them turn out to be females when I clone them. Here are some pics.
