I am thinking of adding Rhino skin to my feed scheduled. I an a new grower and the advanced nutrients website says for master growers only, it also says to add to resIvor 2 hours before other nutes. My question is 1. if I use it should I water with it first wait 2 hours then add the remaining nutrients (water 4 liters total, 1st water 1 liter water with silica then 2 hours later water with 3 liters of water and nutrients 2. Would o probably be safe since I am growing in soil instead of hydroponics any help is appreciated

I use Aptus facilator and I run soil I water with it first then turn around and mix up the rest and water in about an hour. Both silica products so it should work the same. Never had an issue either.

Would you say it is forgiving to use in soil or should I wait till I have more expedience growing to start using

For me I can see a big improvement using it. Just like when I added mammoth p to my grow didn't think I would. But after after adding them both the stems are thicker and and my leaves are praying to the light lol.

I'm using DynaGrow's feeding schedule which uses Protekt as their Silicon solution on my next soil grow. Their instructions are simply to mix the Protekt first before adding other nutrients to your water...no mention of delayed feeding. I'm assuming they all work similarly. I'm hopeful to see some much stronger growth on this next grow too!

Good luck on your grow!

I've used a couple silica brands with soil, 1-2ml per gal, first thing you add, then add any other supplements (CalMag, etc), then base nutrients. PH after all added. No need to run silica separately. Silica can be foliar fed too.

Silica is very effective, I put my girls through hell and they beg for more. Silica helps keep em strong in every way
