SILICA BLAST from Botanicare Anyone use it?

Has anyone used Silica Blast from Botanicare? It claims to help plants with stress during adverse conditions, I have been adding about ½ strength in my cloner. Would this help in anyway or am I wasting nutes? Thanks all

Yes, yes, and it helps stabilize pH.

I use Pro-Tekt from Dyna-Gro, same thing, but a bit cheaper.

1/2-1/4 strength. A little goes a long way.

thanks wolverine, yeah i heard it will help with ph too instead of using ph down. Hey Wet thanks also, so I can add the silica blast to my neem oil as an emulisifier in my foliar spray?

I have no idea about that, but usually silica supplements raise the pH, not lower it, very alkaline.

i use the botanicare stuff. i noticed a real difference within 2 weeks. wet is right, though. the stuff is so alkaline there isn't even a color for it on my ph drops chart. it turns fucking indigo lol. it's about as alkaline as it gets, but it makes an excellent ph up. forget supercropping after using it though. i pinched some very young stems so hard i almost passed out and still couldn't get them to do what i wanted. not a problem because come flower time those stems are retarded strong. i've never used it on rooting clones so i don't know if it's a waste or not, but it's great stuff otherwise.

yes ph up, not down my mistake. That is originally why I had got it, bring my nutrient mixture ph level up. I have some neem oil made by dyna grow and it suggests using pro tekt as an emulisifier. if pro tekt is the same as silica blast then it can be used as a foliar emulsifier also, correct?
