Side by Side of Organibliss

yeah man, I'm adding things slowly trying to boost the weight of harvest and keep it TLO real. replacing the fox farms slowly seems safest to protect my harvest and keep the patients taken care of like they're used to. The worm castings are new as of 2 months ago. I didn't used to use them at all just a scoop of the poops and blood/bone meal. I probably could drop the dolomite lime since I dropped the FF nutes. PH was a bit of a thing with them and seemed to correct when I added the dolomite lime. transitions are slow.

I haven't seen any probs yet from not using lime...I went for broke and dove right in with the TLO..it was either going to work or I was gonna be out the $ and have some ruined plants...it made sense though and it is working big time.

Oh I got ya...so you are gonna do a full on run w nematodes and char etc here soon. didn't wanna come off like I was busting balls either bud I know you got those crunchy nugs over there:weed:

Ditto that. I know you got your stuff on lock down C&T. Just passing along some info

I took none of the posts as ball busting-not that I mind a good ball bust mind you. I'm more timid with my transition since it's worked very well for so long. after like 8 years of being against the grain growing in soil and hearing that hydro is the way it's come back around and I'm glad I have experience with soil even if it wasn't purely organic.

I'm doing a field test as we speak with Organibliss. I'm applying once a week. There is noticeble difference in my test plant. The control plant w/out it is more stretchy, nodes are not as tight. I very much doubt a 50+ % increase in yield, but do see a 15-20% as realistic along with denser flowers. Seeing as this is what I do, from making my own nutrients, using GH when it first became available, then Fox Farm, etc.... If used properly, at the right dilution, and applied properly, this stuff works. I only apply foliars to the bottom of the leaves, I do not completely soak the plant top to bottom, just a light mist from the bottom up to assure complete coverage of the bottom of the leaves. This is done on the exact same cuts off the same mother, same soil mix, same water and nutrient schedule. We shall know in another 1.5-2 weeks the finished results of these 2 plants.

4-17-13 veg room 1.jpgFirst two cuts for the run. There is another pair looking real nice too that will be transplanted in a few days when the roots are a little more thick. Then the random.
4-17-13 veg room 2.jpgProbably wondering about the perlite. I noticed the last bag of soil had some fungus gnats in them. seems a great time to get the things for this test. I get them now and again because I buy that 99 cent 40 lb bag of top soil for my dirt at lowes for my soil mix. I put that perlite on there and they hate it. they can't lay eggs on the porous jagged surface and you can water through it. works good they hate it.

OK, we have our 4 volunteers together. in the next week to 2 I will pot them in 3.5 gallon plastic pots. I think aplication will begin in about a week. they are in dirt and seem healthy. they do have a few fungus gnats just in time for a pest test-thanks to the gnats and Planter's Pride top soil.

Why not start the first application now, or does the product say to avoid using on clones?

Not trying to tell you how to run this experiment whatsoever, just curious.

I only wait to make sure they are strong and rooted. they have only been in these containers for 3-4 days. a week to 10 days is where I'm comfortable doing stuff. If I was going to use nutes I wouldn't start until the 3.5 gallon pot, and a few weeks in it at that. Basically I want to be sure that there is no death from something I did transplanting-I'm still not 100% successful from aero cloner to dirt yet. If I sprayed them and one died from me folding roots or something it'd be unfair to organibliss. So short answer- I'm overly cautious.

That makes perfect sense. I was just thinking along the lines of wondering if this product could help cuttings root faster.

it claims to do almost anything and everything, like its Chuck Norris's piss but I'm going to start slow and see what if anything it really does. If there is any left I'll be doing a toxicity test, dumping the concentrate on a plant....if there is any left.

The above were transplanted and then one of each group treated and control got a cage for the scrog and the test plants sprayed and the rest of the contents (about 20 ml) was divided between the test pots and dumped into the soil. the smaller ones are a week behind in the process to show earlier development with Organibliss. These plants had fungus gnats and the room had thrips while the actual plants here did not have any thrips on them.

UPDATE WEEK 3:
OK, no scans of the records this week too much BS to put that in there maybe in an update. The two large ones with cages look pretty identical to me, the little ones are taking off now. the fungus gnat count on the glue boards is pretty telling. I think I see the difference and actually see a little greener leaf color in the organibliss treated plants but its pretty slight right now. maybe it'll be more pronounced later on. But the next 4 posts will be week 3 updates like last week with the pics.
Here is the before and after treatment of the whole group
