Hey guys Im going to be ordering some shroom spores here soon. Any suggestions on what types. Im looking with good yield and fairly powerfull? And who you have had dealings with be it good or bad.
 
I got some Golden Teacher spores from spores101.com. Arrived in about a week.

As for potency - they work great, but I don't have anything to compare them to....
 
Ok thanks for the reply. Thats who I was thinking of ordering from also. When you say you don't have anything to compare them to is that cause its your first grow or is this the only kind you have taken
 
got a couple of different strains from sporeworks....all worked really well (CR, Amaz, another I can't remember).....made my own spore prints...and still have a couple od syringes.....they're fun to gro and even more fun to enjoy.
 
well I don't think mine were really typical....I struggled somewhat...I have the same handle at shroomery (I kept a journal there at the time) but have not been a regular for a bit now.
 
I'm sorry I can't even really remember what I got for yeild...it was totally experimental and I just was too into munching.......

Both.

I did a set of 1/2 pt cakes from one syringe a few months ago and have been doing grain 2 grain transfers ever since. I plan on making some spore prints, but haven't gotten around to it yet....

Be very weary of web sites that are selling spore syringes... I had to fight with SporeBank to get my order. They completely ignored me for over a week! I know they have affiliates that they partner with like University Scientific Corporation, so you might watch where you order from.

Everything I've read from the Shroomery says that you should be pretty safe with the vendors that they list on their forums.

Tahoe is correct on the grow medium, but please do some reading before you begin. Sterilization and contamination are very large factors when creating your little shroomangies. If you contaminate them, then you're potentially eating something unsafe, and harmful.
 
I have done lots of studying in the subject for about a year maby two or three. So now i think I can pull off a harvest or two flushes since fungi of the sort grow in the wild anywayse right. (:
 
Ok well I ordered the Ultimate 48 from Ralphsters Spores in Canada here so There should be some kick ass shit in there 48 for $400 that should give me a little to party withI would say. Here is whats included,

yea....exactly.....I remember from my time on the shroomery....the variation in yeild was huge.....even with similar conditions....seems that it does require a little of a knack...and like someone else has said....the contamination is the thing to focus on. Though, I have seen others that paid less attention than you might think, and got away clean so.....good luck....you'll enjoy it I epxect. :blsmoke:
