Shroom help

hello im pretty new to this site as you can see its my first post. and i need some help IDing shrooms found on cow feces. there are 10 different farms within ten minutes of my house since i live in wisconsin. but i have no experience with shrooms. havent even tried them yet. but i hope to change that within the next week.

If you take pics people here could tell you right away.

Squeeze the stems for a purpleish blue bruise?

ya i will try to get some pics of them when we decide to go search. i havent even asked my friends yet but they should be down

Like Johnney said..squeeze the stem and if it turns blue you are good to go!

I don't mean to be a party pooper, but please exercise caution when wild mushroom hunting. Though the bruise test may be reliable in most cases, by no means is it the safest way of identification. Please be 100% positively without a doubt in your mind sure before you ingest large quantities. Buy a book, research via the net, ask this vast community of mycologists (like you have above ) or if possible have a pro or experienced person with you. At the very least sample a small amount and wait 24 hrs for any adverse effects to surface if there are any.

Be careful! I don't want to see any 'I ate some mushrooms and now I need a kidney transplant' threads.

Edit: The best and safest way to pick shrooms is out of your own tub ..or jar..
