should you keep fans runing at night in a small closet grow???

in my closet i have an intake and exhaust 120mm PC fan mounted in the door with a 5" ducting bracket mounted inside the closet with some ducting attached to this. When my dark cycle comes around the oscilating fans inside the closet stop but the PC fans keep going keeping the air circulating.

I used to keep an oscilating fan on all the time but i have now stopped this but as mentioned the PC fans keep running constantly 24/7.

Good circulation is critical in growing MJ.

This is however the first grow which i have not kept my oscilating fans on 24/7

Constant air for me too. Fans blowing on plants in darkness helps reduce stretch.

Plants breathe in light and dark. Humidity is usually a problem with small cabinets too.

If it's going to make a drastic difference between your Day temps and Night temps during stretch I would do what I could to stay in that 10 degree range... Fans off would keep your temps up and closer to your day temps. Otherwise an oscillating fan is always best. Does not beat on your leaves as much and it cuts down on dead air pockets.

I agree with this. When none of my fans are running RH goes up to 88% during the dark cycle.

I have found that with just my Mounted PC fans running on the night cycle it doesnt go any higher than 62% which is great.

In case you are wondering my PC fans are 54CFM.

Akasa Apache Black PC fans (they rock)

why is that doc111?

any arguments for why they should be off anyone??
As was already mentioned, relative humidity jumps at night due to the decrease in temps. Keeping the air moving will help prevent mold or fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and bud mold.

plants need it (circulation) during the day or (lights on).. especially indoors as well as at night.

I can't see where it would hurt anything IMO. I do this as well.. and if anything I would say its actually helped my grow.

good luck!
peace
