Should soil be wet when put in pots?

I plan on mixing some FFOF with Pro-Mix BX w/mycorise and adding perlite. I was wondering if I should water the mix before or after I put it in the pot. How wet should it be if I'm supposed to do it before? Should I do a little of before and after? How wet should the soil be in the pot if I am putting germinated seeds in it? How compacted should the soil be in the pots? Should I overfill the pots to compensate for volume lost after watering? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

start your seedlings in a seedling mix...the seedlings don't need extra nutrients for about 3 weeks or so...you could kill em if you put them into "pumped up" soil..then I would make up the soil mix I was going to grow with and transplant them when they are ready....there are plenty of threads and how toos on seedlings.transplanting.veging,flowering,curing and everything inbetween.... jus use the search feature ....good luck with that :^)
