Should marijuana be taxed and regulated in alaska?

Yes or no and maybe a quick "why"

It should be unregulated and untaxed because it is a gift from God, not a privlidge to be granted by the state.

Its not a perfect law and the tax is high per ounce and it actually drops legal plant counts But I'm ok with it.

Then why you so yes GGW? Just because you're pro-normalization, for liberty/society's sake? Or your own public use? Or genetics/clone availability? Or??? I just grow for myself but many folks growing 24+ are commercial, and wouldn't necessarily benefit from legalization. While for small-scalers like me its a no-brainer!

I see it as an industry with potential.. Consulting, cloning, edibles.. other support industries like electricans and other craftsmen fabricating grow facilities. Or converting spaces for growing.

And I still would like to go into a cafe, buy a few grams of top shelf and smoke..

I see ALOT of potential for Alaska.

I network with friends who share.... 24 plants is not entirely commercial.... perpetual sog for example.... 6 small plants every two weeks gives you roughly 24 with about an ounce and a half every two weeks, enough for my wife and I if I make her ration it... then you'll need at least a mother or two.... plant count is now
2 mothers
6 rooting
6 at 2 weeks
6 at 4 weeks
6 at 6 weeks
6 HOPEFULLY done at 8 weeks
rinse and repeat.... that's already beyond Alaska's limits for flowering plants, but I'm sure everyone understands SOG.....

Yeah, im not really that commercial, I have one person I supply gratis but I really think she is benefiting from MJ. but if you run SOG like you say its way easy to go overlimit.

I dont know what the penalties are going to be for high plant counts but I'm still going to remain stealth. For good reason really, rippers and law enforcement. Im pulling at least 60+ cuts a month (thats just cuts) so its just better I lay low.

Its easy to waste weed if ones not careful. I make a half OZ last me a month and thats not stretching it . Joints are wasteful, bongs hits last longer...the joint is still burning while ones holding in their toke. A few hits is usually all I need..yeah joints might taste better and its nice not to have to stretch out your bud yet since I can not grow where I live, I've learn to make my bud last and last...before I became medical, I was trying to make a oversize gram last me a week, that was BS yet at $20 a gram, there wasn't much I could do about it.

Been using weed for over 30 years now, I've always found, the more bud one has, the faster it goes.

I agree with you there, its hard to control ones self after a harvest. I _always_ stash some away. Times get tough.

Long-long ago, when I had lots of extra bud, I would stash a bunch of small amounts all over my bedroom. I would do that when I first had it and then not look for them until I ran out and could not score anymore. I would then start looking for them one at a time as needed.

It was always a good excuse to totally clean my bedroom once in a while, I would always come across something the more I cleaned.

Today I never do that but at the time it worked OK for me. I could be out for a day or two and then recall another place where more weed might be at.

I take care of a couple local patients, more like an ounce and a half between 6 people total

what do exactly do you mean? I'm in the business aspect of it....

Like legally? Getting a license and what not? I wanna start something I've read a lot on it just not sure where you go and get one when you can you know?
