should i use amendments for coco?

Im about to start growing with coco for the first time; specificly sunshine advanced ultra coir. Its not 100% coco coir but mostly, with some peat and perlite.
I was wondering if i should add any admendments in? Anyone have any experience with this specific brand, or coco in general that could give some advice, thanks.

If you are using a bottled nute feeding program then I probably wouldn't bother adding anything.

House and garden coco a and b is what i would recommend.

I'm in sunshine #4 advanced, and add 1 rounded cup perlite per gallon of mix. Drains very well. Never tried it plain.

I'm with southerner, all you should need is bottled nutes and some cal/mag if you use R/O water. I have grown in coco and fox farms soil. I like the coco better. Any decent line of nutes should work. Just follow the drain-to-waste directions.. Extra perlite might not hurt.
