ya. if you got anxiety, it will help you in your quest to get a card, coupled with the insomnia. I got mine due to a back injury (well, injuries) and for my anxiety also. actually I have a whole lot of symptoms that make me qualify. what helps more is if you can get some records from your primary doctor to show the doc issueing the medical marijuana card. I never went to the MUM clinic, but my MMJ doc is in Big Island.

Not certain that you can get an Medical Card with insomnia issues.. I know in California that you could easily obtain a letter for that problem.
In Hawaii, they definitely have stricter guidelines that seem to concentrate more on physical ailments that can be documented by prior physicians and hospitals.
For example, I have Crohn's Disease.... which is a highly painful gastrointestinal inflammation.. that qualifies as a physical ailment and I had to provide documentation from my previous doctors to my MMJ doctor to prove my condition.
It is a pretty easy physical ailment to prove because you get these big red inflammations and they stick a camera up a bad place and videotape it.. lol go to youtube if you want to see (not me ;)

I also have Lyme Disease which is more of a neuropathological issue that affects my nervous system... and it is harder to show evidence of the condition.. I don't think I could get the Medical card on this condition alone...

Dr. Greenhorn mentioned a physical back injury that he probably has a lot of documentation for.. He wouldn't have a problem showing evidence of his physical disability..

Good luck in finding a doctor to help you out...

Need more input here guys! I have had LIFElong anxiety and insomnia issues. I was cut off from xanax and ambien because I built up such a huge tolerance to the drugs, and still suffered. Throw in deep depression as well. Stick to the natural herb!

just tell them you got back pain ever since you "crashed your motorcyle" or somthin along those lines....they cant prove you dont have pain....well at least in cali thats how it is because our law makes doctors not liable or punishable in the court of law for prescribing..!

I have a "bible" of serious back, anxiety and stomach issues. I just tried to set up an app't. I was told "don't call us, we'll call you." :( Supposedly, the doctor is in town sporadically. Will I be seen? If you have any info for me, and don't want it in the bright lights, please send me a private message. Some of my beans germed in 36 hours-God I love being back in the tropical climate :)

Thank you Doctor. Yeah, I need some serious help here, and it's time to make the call and look up the Hawaiian Airlines flight schedule and airfares. I wish I could just go to Ewa Beach, but time is of the essence. Big mahalo to you! :)

Now that I have some babies going, I need to do this quick because no one else will care for them.

Ok, cool. Fingers crossed. My medical history is enough for 4 people for mari-med. And my babies are rapidly growing already. I can't believe what a difference the climate makes, although I used to grow here 30 years ago. This is the first time I had 100% germ rate. :)

I left a message for the doc. Cannabis > hydrocodone, which doesn't help me anymore. And my IBS is out of control.

Mahalo!!
