My WW and AK 47 are just 2 weeks old. They are doing great, I noticed roots at the bottom of those cups today...someone said not to transplant just yet...I just want to make sure. They are gonna go into 5 gallon pots next. Should I transplant?

:? I wasnt questioning the size of the next pot though...should I transplant now? Right away? Wait a week?

if roots are coming out the bottom it's looking for more space!! it's won't hurt to transplant too early (just have a bigger pot to deal with earlier, but it won't hurt the plant). it will slow down the plant if you wait too long to transplant.

i think you're good to transplant!

yeah nici. im goin wit 5 gallon grow bags. veggin 40 mixed seeds of purple power and master kush now bout two weeks old. when shud we transplant?

i also would like to know when is a good time to clone an wen shud i put the clone in soil. i always just reordered seeds an i wud like to cut down on cost an harvest time

good to hear nici, you'll be happy you did the transplant - in a few days those plants are going to take off, they'll be huge before you know it.

there are some gr8 threads on cloning out there....its a detailed process but relatively simple....you start them in rock wool or jiffy pots or some other medium,,,then when you see the roots coming out around the sides & out the bottom....They are ready for soil...or the next size up medium.... :weed:

You have time, theres no need to get anxious over this. When plants get badly rootbound the roots aren't just coming out the bottom, they are literally nothing but a mass of roots filling the entire pot. You can transplant now, 1 week, 2 weeks, maybe even 3 weeks. A rootbound plant will use water much faster than a non rootbound plant will, so when you notice a change in how much water its using thats a good time to do the transplant.
