Try a mix of all those and see how each plant responds. They'll all work but 10 people will say 10 different things so try it for yourself. That's how you'll learn what works for you.

It depends how you want to treat your plants. Topping is the actual removal of the top so it's high stress training and it will stunt growth. But that could be exactly what you need. Low stress training is a lot "nicer" to your plant and you can get creative with it. LST is an art.

Don't forget supercropping...thats good too

well i plan on veggin 2 weeks transplant to 2 or 3 gallon pots
then topping once, veg 2 more weeks,
transplant to 5 gallon pots
veggin another week then switch to 12/12

this being my 1st real grow id rather try some topping rather than lst. but maybe i can do a bit of both as ill be doing 4-6 plants

Any or all could be used.. Just depends on what you are doing. I for instance, grow in a ScROG. I make sure the plant is grown past the screen before I put it under.. I super crop the main stalk, and bend it 90 degrees, then start LST'ing the branches so each hole has a node. As the plant grows up through the screen, I top the oldest branches, to keep the growth even with the new stuff. Little bit of everything works for me.
