Should I stop smoking or smoke less?

I love weed, I prefer to alcohol and I love all the benefits it gives me, there is one big negative issue though.
I have no issues when I'm smoking but as soon as I stop for a T-break I get horrible withdrawal depression for a few weeks. It stops me in my tracks, I'm unable to really function efficiently while my body adjust to the lack of TCH.

I do suffer from clinical depression and OCD, I am on 20mg of citalopram, I also use CBD to help with anxiety and go to therapy when I need it. I feel that THC has helped me tremendously with my own personal issues, I'm able to think about things differently while high and have grown a lot as a person.

When I have cannabis I will about 0.2g-0.5g smoke every day, then usually take a break while I save up to get some more. I really don't want to stop all together but I know that it would be really unhealthy for me (and my wallet) to medicate every day.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Should I limit my cannabis intake only to the weekends or is that still going to give me withdrawal? Is it best for me to stop?

I know that cannabis effects everyone differently so I know that the best way for me to find out is to try, which I will do, however I would appreciate any advice on this.

thanks

My wife says it takes about 4-5 days for the ‘withdrawl’ Symptoms to stop. She gets moody and has trouble sleeping during that time. Then it goes away she says.

If she tries to just ‘cuts back’ she’ll just be back at it full strength pretty quick. She recommends just stopping if you need/want.

I haven’t quit in over a decade so I wouldn’t know personally though. It’s the only thing that keeps me sane. I would loose my shit without it. But if I were going to quit or cut back I would just quit. Because there is no cutting back for me. Mental issues suck.

oh, no. It's mild compared to other substances. I stopped drinking altogether after going through alcohol withdrawal, cannabis however I'm on the fence wether the good outweighs the bad for me.

Yeah, I quit drinking ages ago... I think I quit drinking before I quit drugs.
Alcohol is a nasty cheap drug.

Go try yourself some luxurious mescaline.

Hey hey heyehhhhey.........Smoke weed every day.

Do what works for you. Listen to your body. For me, cannabis is good for me. All day. every day. So are breaks.

I think psychedelics would scare me. Too much weed scares me.

I'm a wet noodle.
Mescaline is the limousine of psychedelics. It's like a long day at the beach.

Weed is the trippiest drug I know. 99% of the time it won't do shit.
But then it gets you really good.

You could look into micro dosing magic mushrooms. Its so effective it feels like its medicine. Smoke weed 5/7 days a week, 2/7 low dose mushrooms around 0.2 gr.

That's a tiny dose I doubt you're getting much if any effect from it. Likely the other medications you're taking are causing the adverse reactions.

I have a decent vape, sorry, I'm so used to saking "smoke" as a all around term. yeah that .5 will last a good 2-3 seshes.

I guess if I were actually smoking I'd be in the 1-2g range
