Hey everyone,
First time grower here. I am currently 5 1/2 weeks into flowering under 8-23 watt CFLs. I was just curious if the plant looks ready to flush or if I should water with nutes one more time before I flush.
Thanks in advance for all your help, this website is great! Never grown anything in my life and I was successful in my first attempt with MJ.

I would wait. What I would really do tho is decide what color I wanted my trichromes (what kind of high I'd like) and flush a week before I think they'll turn that color and go from there.

I am obviously just growing for myself (1 plant at a time) and this is my first time growing. I prefer more of a head high, so I know that I don't want to wait too much longer. However, I have nothing to magnify (see tricchromes) so I was wondering how much longer I should have to grow my baby before harvesting. I would also like to mention that the picture is slightly deceiving. More of the pistils have turned brown then what the picture suggests

Atleast get a magnifying glass to look at the trichs thats the best option for you. If you want the cerebral high start the flush when 25% of the gland heads are cloudy/milky, and 75% are still clear. By the end of the flush (2 weeks in soil or if foliag is still dark green at the beginning of the flush, or 1 week if fan leaves have already dtarted to lighten up) 50% of the gland heads should be milky, and 50% clear. This will add to that cerebral high your looking for.
