I have three bag seed plants this is my second indoor grow first went ok plants got nute burn from mg soil and nutes i went with vigoro potting soil cuz its NPK was 7-4-3 (lowest i could find at the time.) Anyway ive read that u should start to flowerwhen your plant is half the desired hieght well i have 6" plants that are insanely mature. Attached are some pics also one plant is showing N deficiency i believe so i dosed her with some mg bloom booster against my better judgement i am pickin up nutes today which do u recomend i have yet to feed these girls my set up is 10-23W(100 equiv) cfls 1750 lumens a piece tent is 5'X3'X19" a quick response for nutes would be great as i am on my way out to get them thanks againCAM00213.jpgCAM00214.jpgCAM00215.jpg

"insanely mature" at 6"????? Doubt it hun-- "Insanely mature" is when people veg for over 8 weeks.... and the plants pre-sex due to maturity....

You can go 12/12 whenever you wish-- but the plants won't start to bloom until they are chemically/sexually mature-- so they may take 3-4 weeks to start budding-- and that is when you start counting 'days to harvest".... but unless you know what kind of weed was in the bag-- or at least whether it was Sativa/Indica/hybrid.... even THAt is gonna be something you'll have to figure-out as you go....

Try taking some pics w/o the grow light on, its too bright on the first pic, and the first one looks sickly imo. I'm talking about the color, looks like an issue. Even in the brightest grow lights thats too of a neon yellow to be the healthy green they should be (might just be me, just dont look right)

3rd pic looks like the leaves are bronzing and in the second one on the lower left side you can the leaves of the first pic w/o so much light. Are you growing with coco by chance? Thats not something really suggested for new growers..

posted pics should I flower and which nutes should I use?????

Since you are in soil that already has an N-P-K value, you will need to cut back on the nutes at first ... but those plants are YOUNG... they won't but much at 1st... so you will want to go with "transitional" nutes-- meaning a low-dose of BOTH grow andbloom nutes-- so go with a One-part nutrient, like Flora Nova... later in bloom you'll add more P-K and Cal-Mag...

Or you can "top dress" the plants with a granular organic like Happy Frog Fruit & Flower or "Pappa's Perfect Poop" or "Espoma Flower-Tone"... you mix a couple tablespoons into the top 2-3 inches of your soil (gently!) and top with about 1" of fresh soil. Water deep but gently. Then later in bloom- start them on a solution of Florablend Vegan Compost Tea and some Earth Juice Micro-blast. Use both at 1/2 rate as suggested on the bottle and use 2x a week. Water DEEP whenever you feed or water, there should be some drainage... but then let them go until the top 2 inches of soul are dry and the container feels light to water or feed again.

You really need to read-up on growing/blooming & harvesting so you can make the most of these plants--- having them down in the planters like that is restricting the airflow and light to the bottom half of the plant-- until the bottom of the plant is at or above the lip of the planter-- let them veg!

Thats pretty light brown for soil, looks coco coir to me. If so he needs to use soil until he learns more about growing imo.

you can do flowering whenever you want, most people just like to get a base started first

He said it is vigoro potting soil with an NPK of 7-4-3... not enough P-K for flowering, but enough N-P-K for veg--andx I agree.. needs to learn a lot more...

Thank you for all the input im still very wet behind the ears as fars as soil im not growing in coco it is the mildest fert soil i could find Vigoro potting mix with perlite added for drainage i just transplanted them and dripped them too shallow i agree they are buried in the pots more than i wanted so i will continue to veg until i am satisfied with the plants health my biggest question is fixing the yellow plant ill post clearer pics so u can see the colors acurately...again thanks for all the knowledge i will try and decypher it all .

Transplant, i bet in the next week you'll see a lot more growth. It takes roughly 5 weeks for a vegging marijuana plant to mature, thats usually suggested when to flower or to make a mother for clones. Right now the nodes (can call em branches) are symmetrical, meaning the left branches and the right branches grow together. Here just painted this up, its not great i was in a hurry but its good for the plants to mature
