Should I do a pre-harvest nutrient leech in my hempy?

Hey, I'm about 7-14 days from harvest and am curious if I should only give ph'd water so the plant uses up all of it's available nutrients that remain in the plant tissue for a smoother smoke?

This is only my second hempy grow and my last grow had no pre harvest leech. The result was fantastic flowers, but when you smoked a bowl, it burned to a hard black ash. 1 of 2 things occurred and I'm not sure which it was. Either a) The very large (thc bomb produces very large flowers) buds were dried too quickly which locked chlorophyll and starches into the final product. Typically with a slow dry, the chlorophyll evaporates slowly and starches convert to sugars. Or b) I used excessive amounts of P & K in flower which remained in the plant tissue upon harvest. From my understanding of plant nutrition and how plants work, theory A seems to be the most plausible.

What do y'all think?

Oh cool. Did you end up with a lot of different phenos?
Well jonny's grow space is limited being in an apartment, so I'm actually only growing 1 girl in my tent at the moment so I couldn't speak to whether or not the strain is producing stable genetics. From what I've read, many people are experiencing a variety of different phenotypes. Mine has a very sweet fruity almost slightly sour smell to her and she is very bushy with heavy flowers that require staking around week 6. I have 6 stakes in a 5 gallon pot just to keep the flowers from falling over one another and a couple on top are so heavy that even after staking they're still basically laying horizontal on top of the canopy just above the zip tie where it's attached to the stake. The strain seems solid, but the true test will come when it's burning in my bowl.
