dont be paranoid about the cops.
the lamp will heat will differ if you have a cool tube or a fan blowing on it or dependent on enclosure/set up.

No, cops are not even supposed to be using infrared to detect grows, they only reason infrared cops ever catch a grow is that they are out looking for a missing person or escaping suspect and just happen to be in the neighborhood, about 90% of grow ops are busted because of loose lips not cops.

No. You'd have a better chance of getting caught for not dealing with the scent of flowering plants than you would by infrared helicopters. They don't go out and just look for houses that might be growing. Like someone else said...more grows are busted because people talk... and nark.

thanks for putting my mind at ease dudes, i just been in my grow room, its already about 30 degrees C up there, they cant kick the door off everyones houses with poor loft instulation, FUCK THE POLICE, im gonna grow me some bud!
