dwc is easy to flush just empty the bucket......
If you have heavy metals or salts locked up in the plant that is another issue
Just lower ppms and don`t add anything that you don`t want in the plant for the last 10 to 20 days, some chems and pgr`s you may not want to use for the last 30 days or more or at all for that matter

The same way I'd go about flushing my weed grown in my F&D table and outdoor grown weed.

I don't flush in DWC. Recently I've been increasing Mg and P while decreasing K slightly a few days before harvest. A deficient plant won't be able to break down starches as well as a healthy one. I also have reason to believe that sufficient levels of P have an inverse correlation with starch accumulation. P deficiency would thus be responsible for a buildup of starch and a less clean burn.

Considering hydro has inert medium flushing is not needed.
Flushing is leeching nutes out of soil.

Yeah, no need to flush but slowly drop nute levels about week 5-6. We 3nd up around 200 ppm at the very last week.
As.someone eluded to above, plants need nutrients in order to properly break down chlorophyll when you dry them out.
Good tasting bud is about a nice SLOW dry, not about flushing "30 days" before harvest. Those guys with the totally yellow plants at the end... fail.
Just another stupid pot head myth...like organic soil grown has soo much better flavor.
