What footprint are you using the 650R with?

At 650w you’re good to flower a decent 5x5 footprint.

what’s your plan For plants? How many and what floor space are you working with?

And the 650R spec can be used on its own.

Yeah it will be about 5*5 just need to finish the room few autos probably with right now I know it's fine on its own but just didn't know if adding red during flower will just be better and was gonna add little uva just short times but just didn't know if adding more red would help make better buds that's all I know this light is fine on its own but if it would make any difference at all or just wasting money on bill I have it 4*4now but turned down

The 650 already has optimal red. Adding more lighting later is a better investment.

So you think it won't be a bad idea to add more red during flowering. I know the 650r is definitely great light start to finish .

I Know the light is great intense really great Start to finish but I over think things and if I can get better finish I just grow hobby and try different things so you think it won't be a waste to add some more red at flower I don't care about the ir effects for 12/12 but will it hurt to add Red and ir when I start flowering or just do more red if your saying it will help or it will be a waste sorry I do know the hlg 650 is great light love it

Their spectrum and efficiency is great. I would save the money and buy more full spectrum lighting down the road if you think you need more. More red isn't going to help you grow better vs the Rspec they already have. If more red was better, they would offer more red.

Best option spreads your lighting evenly across the canopy. Some fill in lighting might help after you test out what you have already got.

Ok I understand that's you know smoked little to much. That why I didn't buy anything because I was thinking that I might be adding already what's there that's why I figured I come here ask a stupid question on here about the 650r because I have to say is it's nice like I said I have turned down but can't wait to get it setup in the room and get it all set up right. But I had to use it now so I figured I just dim it but it can't go rise it up anymore and if I turn all the way up . but thanks for you respond back it ha helpful but I am going to try the UVA light at some point not now will get it set up ight then decide. Thanks
