Apologies for the slowing of content but man, just so busy lately! Here's a couple shots I managed to get of the Pre 98 Bubba Just before Harvest. Looks fucking bomb and has taken on a concord grape smell. Sweet and sour grape with a slight musky/earthy undertone. Can't wait to sample this stuff, definitely better than my first couple runs with her. Though I didn't keep any cuts of this (friend has it if I want it again) just due to wanting to get through some of these seeds that I have stocked up. Anyway here she is at 56 days... I would say 60-63 would be the max for this particular pheno. It was very milky with very few ambers showing.

That's all for now. Gonna be taking some high res stuff of the Texas Butter later this week; a friend is bringing a proper camera by to do these frost coated gals some justice :)

I was afraid that I killed your thread with my banter... Bubba is looking good, too bad we can't get shit like that in Okla. Legally, we are not supposed to bring in clones from other states, so it's seed only here...

Hahahaha no man you didn't kill it, I just haven't had a lot of time to get on and ramble and provide the content for discussion :)

nothing wrong with seed man. honestly, I'm looking to get away from most of the cultivars I've been running the past 5 years and making room for new stuff from seed. Plus it gives you the satisfaction of saying, I started this cut from seed, so I know exactly where it came from. Not to mention... no need in worrying about taking cuts from others gardens. I'm enjoying popping seeds at the moment. I mean obviously I'm looking for keeper phenos to do clone runs with... but man it's just cool taking an unknown and seeing what it can do.

later this year I'm gettin a breeding tent, just a little 3x3 to have some fun with. Gotta start somewhere. gonna pass out seeds to some friends. Maybe throw some out the car window while driving the back roads LOL.

Regenerative Organic Cannabis Convention talks. Man I wish I would have been available to attend their visit to Ann Arbor, MI. Talk about videos with enormous amounts of information. Kevin Jodery is my new cannabis hero. Can't wait to revisit and create playlists of all the videos I've been watching lately and share them with everyone. I'm learning A TON. YouTube can be a really great resource when you search through all the material and trace lines from one presenter to others they work with. Great stuff. Cheers!

Got me one of them fancy pants 35$ USB microscopes... I don't see how this thing actually achieves 1000x... there's just no way you can see bacterial cells with this scope (not that I bought it for that). But It's not terrible for the money, and it's a great tool for the garden, no more bending over to look at trichs through a scope. It has wireless capability right to the phone screen. Here's a shot I took of some cured Shangri-la with it on the desktop mount...

The more I research, the more this recipe(s) make sense. I’m putting this rock dust heavy mix together ASAP. Gonna grab a couple 30 gal grassroots fabric pots with moisture lock tech and get a couple no tills going. Will include amendments initially but then just gonna let it ride for a bit.
I know I was really interested in that recipe as well. I love the simplicity of it. I added alot of rock dust to my current mix but haven't tried the recipe from scratch yet.

I was fortunate enough to make it to the conference for the whole weekend. So much amazing knowledge was shared. Small farmers need to stick together!

Bring on that CBD flower... Perkin's Cut (Cannatonic) around day 6. She's never looked healthier. Cannot wait for some flowers from this plant.

Hi ShLUby!
I'm looking to get some cannatonic from a seed bank soon.
Did you get that from a seed bank?
At 1st I thought it was a clone but googled Perkin's cut and saw it was available in seed.
My next project is to grow some CBD strains to see if they will help with my wife's arthritis pain so I'm looking for a good place to purchase it from.

mine came as a cut from a nursery in Ann Arbor, MI. Where did you see seeds of Perkin's cut? This is my first grow with CBD. I recently picked up a pack of CBD Jam by delicious seeds. 2:1 and 1:1 CBD to THC ratios. Hoping to find a nice 2:1 in the 5 pack of fems.

When I did a quick google search for "Perkin's cut cannatonic" this seed bank came up fourth in search, just now looking closer it had a write up on it in the description section of their cannatonic seeds, not that they were the Perkin's Cut.
Here is the link that came up in search.

I just looked at the CBD Jam by delicious seeds, I'm going to order those today.
Thanks!

much appreciated friend. glad you got to experience it. feel free to share all the things you found significant from the event :) I'm sure we'd all love to hear about it!
Haha very tough to share all significant findings because there was so much for growers of all skill level. But I think it is important to point out how the speakers didn’t all agree on everything. They showed that there are a multitude of ways to grow cannabis and get amazing results. No one person knows everything and in order to make it this industry we all need to be working together. We are not each others competition, big pharma and large corporations will be the competition. An idea they stressed very hard, that I love, is creating appellations for cannabis. By creating distinct growing regions, where the farmers follow specific growing guidelines, similar to the wine or liquor industry, it will give small farms a chance against the big guys.
