Shipping seeds privately from UK to US

So my mum lives in the UK and I live in the USA and she asked me what I wanted for Christmas the other day. I told her to send me some seeds stashed in with something.

What do you guys think the chances are of the package actually making it to me untouched and what would be a good gift for me that she could hide the seeds in?
 
Maybe like a stuffed animal that takes batteries you could put the seeds in the place were the batteries go.
 
Good idea, I was thinking along the lines of a jar full of nuts, since that wouldn't be too suspicious if it got x-rayed.
 
that would probably work to there's so many possibilities for this.Maybe in a dvd case just tell her to barely rip the plastic wrapper so she can pull the case out and slip it back in when the seeds are in then just blow dry around the plastic and it will stick back together like it was never opened.
 
My seeds come shipped from the UK in a plain old envelope. No custom problems yet. I normaly purchase from Dopeseeds

Yeah that would work too, I am sure they got some rare DVDs over there that I can't get over here. I am assuming a package woould be less suspicious than an envelope, around this time of year. Does anybody have any actual experience shipping seeds privately overseas?

Worm, is that those manila padded ones or plain white paper envelopes?

Manila padded. Plain once could cause a problem with damaging goods i would think.
 
Yes I would think so too, just wondering what you received them in. I did order seeds online once. I think it was from Emery, but the envelope came taped shut like it was opened and the seeds were MIA, just the directions were left in there.

Customs confiscation. seeds is nothing more then a slap on the risk over here. if that..
 
Actually nothing ever transpired of it, that was several years ago. That's why I figured it wouldn't be a big deal if they were to be confiscated.

They didn't even send you a warning so nothing really matters. Maybe he's growing your babies out right now lolL yeah I love D&C, great movie .
 
dude. Just order the seeds. try speedyseedz on here. seems very legit and promising. Much less then other seed banks and you will be supporting the website.
 
Yeah but this is an X-mas gift from my mum, I don't wanna have her go through all this trouble when she can just take the tube to Camden and snag them there from a local shop.

I understand what the guy is saying, his mum can just pop to a shop and buy some,


On the other hand i'm not too keen on just sharing out my packaging info.

but it is christmas, and i'm feeling the christmas spirit so.

Why don't you ask your mum to get you a proper gift she will feel happier about giving you and you can have either ceres skunk female, dna lemon skunk female or dna hash plant haze female completely free from my store.
 
Think about how many packages go through the mail on a daily bases. And then think about how many go through during the holidays. Just tell her to send it with whatever. You'll be fine.
