I have another but she isn't as strong because she started hydroponically and it wasn't that successful so I transplanted to dirt.

I seem to not have the green thumb. Although I can never let something be either. So I killed one on purpose because it just wasn't healthy, and the second got burned by a stupid reflective incadecent grow light (DO NOT USE THEM THEY SUCK, LOW LIGHT OUTPUT AND HIGH HEAT)

So since I am down to one plant I figured I might use it as the clone bitch when she shows promise.
For now I started soaking more seeds so I can prepare for another start. Bonus time is son and I can invest into a system that will actually work in my closet. I mean I have a 10x6 closet so I should be able to do something with it.

So I changed the soil 2 days ago and added lighting. I have 3 CFL's at 100w and 1 150w. Thats their rated output not the energy used. I think that is 23w and 45w.
So with a bigger pot, new dirt and new lights with a reflective background. This is what it looks like so far. Oh yeah and I topped it so she would "Y" out.

This is what my next project is to prepare for the new seedlings. I saw how someone else did "Y" splitters and had 8 lights. I just have to figure out the electrical gamut and see how much wattage will be used and how much this thing can take. I want to use 8 bulbs. 4 Daylight bulbs and 4 soft white. So I can cover the spectrum as best as possible. I can be very inventive but I would like to see if I can come up with a project that can produce what a 400W MH/HPS lamp can do. I think if you can grow with CFL's and Flo's then you should be able to produce somehow what those expensive setups can do.
I'm a junkyard kinda guy so I like to reuse stuff and make cool things out of it. I am waiting for my city's bulk pickup in Jan. After Christmas there ought to be tons of good pickin's
