sharp edged leaves

I have a seedling with the first set of serrated edged leaves and about 1/2" long. In my limited experience I have not seen the way these leaves look before at this stage. The individual points are very well defined and raised throughout the leaf. If it were metal it could probably cut. They are very sharp and well defined. It is also a darker green than what I have normally seen. I dont have a pic at the moment but was wondering if the description was enough to get an idea about this seedling. I am planting from seeds and know nothing about the strain.

ok, I was able to get them out and take a pic, they suck but maybe can show something.

Thanks, dont really know what the hell I am doing. Tried a couple times before and failed. Built a Jethro box with a few added mods and hopefully 3rd times a charm. Still working on bringing the cooling down a few more degrees.

Looks completely normal to me not sure what your looking for but these look like pretty much any new seed sprout

When lights are on, it seems to be fluctuating some. The box still shows some light through and I have to drape a blanket over it and it is obstructing the intake fan some from getting fresh air but right at this moment it is sitting at 89.4 with the temp probe half way down. Been working on ways of covering it up and staying away from the intake fan as much as possible, but light is escaping out the fan. Working on a light block to attach to the inside around the fan. The fluctuations are more than likely due to the blanket, but it has been as high as 93.

I have not checked it lately but when I built it and the probe at the top it hit 97. Since then, I have added another exhaust fan and that seems to have been worth about 2 degrees, might add another, computer fans are not a problem.

Not particularly looking for anything but healthy looking plants, I just have not seen a leaf like that before is all and it had me curious. Little SOB's better be female is all I gotta say.

yikes, thats warm. im at 78 in my closet with the door open, tops at 85 with it closed.

I keep the opposite side door half open to allow for air to get into the closet. when lights are off it drops down to around 78-80. It is always warm in my bedroom, this house is just a pain to keep an equal temp throughout. I have to find a happy median. To warm upstairs and too cold downstairs.

Yeah temps without co2 78 is optiomol above 80 or so growth stops and plants start dying with co2 injection 90-95 is ok as co2 requires higher temps for usage

Sugar and yeast may not really count. When I meantion co2 uagse I mean monitored 1200-1500 coz ppm in the air things like co2 tanks,co2 generators or co2 bucket system. You co2 ppm count at least 1200?

Heck if I know the exact ppm. All I know is that someone I know uses it in his fishtank and his plants go crazy. I know there are alot of different variables here, but I dont want to spend a fortune, I just want 2 plants at a time and doing the best I can for the first time. But I am open to any suggestions within the restraints of my limitations. And I am using the basic Jethro plans for my box.

Yeah with such a new grower Id say keep the temps down under 80 with the little monemade co2 maker as it giving minimal co2 off.Keep a fan blowing on the plants so air is moving and not stale.Few good things for you would to be use miracle grow moisture control soil. Its good stuff.Dont use ferts for first 30 days.Fox Farm makes good affordable nutes get the 3 bottle grow big, Tiger Bloom and big bloom asbout 40 bucks for all 3.USe plenty of light and dont overwateer

I will look into this, but my biggest concern is ultimate stealth. I just cant have wires, tubes and lights running all over the place. As far as the temps go, I am going to adjust the AC and see if that helps. I will check the temp when the lights are off and see what it is. I still think the blanket thrown over the box is getting in the way of the fan some. Could I put some dry ice in the box to help cool? How long will it last, or would I be running to the store every day to get more? My 18/6 schedule starts at 6pm, should I adjust it differently?
