Using Prescription Blend nutrients and running under the Mars Hydro FC4800 in a 4 x 4. Soil amendments: Dynomyco mychorrizal, bat and seabird guano and earthworm castings. Seeds are from 3 different banks, i49, Weed Seeds Express and Kannabia via Cannapot

That is one filled in 4x4 canopy! I’m impressed. Nice work! I’ve never grown autos. Once you flip your photo periods your autos will be under the same light schedule 12/12 right? I’ve read with autos you would want a veg lighting schedule. Maybe is doesn’t matter for yields on the autos? I have a few auto seeds but haven’t popped them. I’ve been to busy hunting photos and building a collective of strains I like.

Hey thanks! I am mostly on another forum but decided I would branch out just for the conversation and sharing!

I keep my tents packed, always. I also have a 3 x 3 that houses a Maxsisun MG3000 but I don't have anything going in it right now.

What I do is start my autos sooner than the photos then let the autos get to about week 4 of flower then flip the photos. I run 14/10. However, since i am not using the other tent, the first couple weeks I will move the photos into the small tent and let the autos continue on 24-0 while the others sleep for 10 then put them back in the flower tent.

I love autos. They get a bad rap. They're fun and beautiful to run. I have had 8oz autos but never anything less than 3. I average about 5 oz p auto.

Don't be scared, grab an auto or 2 and have fun! They run just as fine under a 12/12 20/4 18/6 or 24/0. Could compromise yield if you flip them to the shorter schedule too early so just be cautious with when you flip. It's usually just the last 3/4 weeks or so while they finish flowering that I have them on an abbreviated light schedule
