I've had this grow going for 8 weeks since sprouting. Its my first grow in coco so I was a bit apprehensive about starting a journal as I thought I was going to fuck it up to be honest.

I've seen quite a few threads where people are using crazy amounts of different nutes, additives and extras making it seem overly complicated and creating unnecessary work for themselves. I wanted to keep it simple so have used 1 veg nute, a pk booster, molasses and homemade calmag.

So far so good it appears, I've not seen deficiencies on either plant yet but there is still a fair way to go. I've defoliated both quite heavily several times and it doesn't appear to have had any adverse effects yet.

A lot of things I've seen and read say not to fuck about with Autos too much, I've done LST and the above and its going strong. The way I see it is as long as the plant is healthy to begin with and you do it gradually and not in one sitting the plant will cope.

Last and most important lesson I've learnt so far is........be fucking patient! I'm determined to keep it simple and let the plants tell me what they need and when they are ready. Underfeeding is easier to remedy than overfeeding, same applies to watering and keep everything else in the tent consistent. Feel free to comment and happy growing!

Week 10 (today) 4 weeks into 12/12
mixed in 2 litres
10 ml formulex universal profile
1 ml PK boost
1 ml homemade calmag
Fed 2 litres each per day with half a tea spoon molasses every third feed until run off.

The breeder states the Walter should be ready in 70 to 80 days... No chance! I've looked at grow journals for this strain and its closer to 13 weeks for decent results. I'll be checking Trichs etc around February 10th and go from there as the pistils have only just started changing colour. It is starting to get a lovely creamy citrus sort of smell.

The peyote is coming along nicely but is miles away from being ready so I'll just keep at it.

Thanks for taking a look and happy growing!

I decided to sort out my drying area while I wait for the lights to come on, now its just a case of waiting for the Walter to finish.

Its a cheap tool storage unit and I've taken the shelves out, put plastic netting up and secured it with the wire I've been using to lst, drilled ventilation holes and the fan ducting feeds into my grow tent with the carbon filter to help remove some of the smell.

The RH in the room is generally around 55 to 65% so that should be fine. The temperature is on the lower side so it just means a few days extra drying before putting it in jars.

Week 11 (today) 5 weeks into 12/12
mixed in 2 litres
10 ml formulex universal profile
1 ml PK boost
1 ml homemade calmag
Fed 2 litres each per day with half a tea spoon molasses every third feed until run off.

Both coming along nicely, just got to have patience and give the Walter a few more weeks to finish. The tent is starting to smell amazing!

Your plants look dope. I’ve been wanting to do a coco grow myself as I have only used fox farm, happy frog, roots organics etc.... my question is did you mix any worm castings or compost at all into your coco mix? I was thinking about trying it on my next run, but was thinking about adding 1/3 compost, but your grow makes me think maybe not.

Thanks. I just used Coco coir and perlite. I got the coco from Amazon the brand is Everything coco & coir in a nutshell and it was the GROW one as its PH balanced and just perlite. I water/feed them everyday until run off and its usually still slightly damp around 24 hours later when I do it again and I've not had any issues.

I've got homemade worm castings as I have 2 bins and have made a mix of around 60% coco, 20% castings and 20% perlite for other house plants and it seems to hold the moisture for a few days. I'd say just keep that in mind if you do so you don't end up overwatering.

Week 12 (today) 6 weeks into 12/12
mixed in 2 litres
10 ml formulex universal profile
1 ml PK boost
1 ml homemade calmag
Fed 2 litres each per day with half a tea spoon molasses every third feed until run off.

The Pistils on the Walter are now predominantly orange. They haven't started curling back into the Calyxes yet but I had a peek through the loupe and the Trichomes are still mostly clear but the clouding has started, so getting close but not there yet. This is where the patience comes in!

The Peyote is coming along nicley but won't be close for a few more weeks, I've had to tie some of the taller branches to the main stem as they are getting top heavy and starting to lean and I don't want the hanging over the top of the radiator.

Thank for taking a look and happy growing!

Week 13 (today) 7 weeks into 12/12
mixed in 2 litres
5 ml formulex universal profile
1 ml PK boost
1 ml homemade calmag
Fed 2 litres each per day with half a tea spoon molasses every third feed until run off.

Peyote is coming down today as I've got a Phantom OG and Ghost Toof to go in to replace this grow. A few amber triches but pretty much cloudy all over so I'm happy. Nice sweet earthy berry sort of smell and sticky. I'm aiming for a 7 to 10 day hang then jarring with hygrometers. I'm not putting a boveda in there until it drops below 62%.

Walter is staying up for a bit longer but will be doing the same come chop time.

I put the Peyote in a jar yesterday after hanging since the 10th and the hygrometer is reading 63% so no need for the Boveda yet. I'm going to leave it for a week or 2 and see how it is.

The Walter was cut on the 15th and is still drying. I've sifted the trim and got 5g hash. I've still got the larfy buds drying separately so I'll make more when they're dry enough.
