hey everyone, new on growing.
is it possible to determine the sex of a plant before it gets to the flowering stage?
anything i should look for?

your plant can autoflower. but only when it reaches maturity. but the preflower usualy shows a week or two before it actually starts budding. and you can determine the sex from that.

True, althou this isn't always a sure-fire way. The only 100% accurate way to figure out the sex is by flowering 1-2 weeks.

Sexing throu prefowers has made alot of people angry. (thought it was female, ended up being male)

The pro's do this: take a cutting as soon as possible and place it udner 12/12. In a week you know what sex the cutting is, before even starting flowering on the big plants.
