Sexing after LST?

I was wondering if LSTing a plant will change the way it shows its sex? This might be a stupid question but this is the first time I've ever tried LST and didn't know if it will affect the pre-flowers at all. Will they still show up on the nodes? I'm still pretty new to this so any help or info ya'll could give would be very much appreciated. Thanks

There's no dumb questions, bla bla bla ,you've heard it all before! Now that's the grandpa coming out in me.
No LST'ing will not change how your plant changes sex. The plant will be in minimal stress and if anything may slow it down a bit
but don't worry about it. You shouldn't notice it being the first time and all.

Thanks! This site has so much info and has been a huge help but this is my first post. The only reason I decided to ask was because I couldn't find anything about it anywhere. Also thanks for replying. I was just kinda worried about being able to tell because the way its growing with LST. That seemed like the best method to use since I don't have a lot of room and I want to avoid stressing them out as much as possible. I think its working great so far though. I started them from seed on the 5th of this month and then started LST about 4 or 5 days ago. They already have new leaves starting on the lower parts of the stem! Hopefully it goes good from here and I'll get a few females. Thanks again for the help

Good luck. You do fine, it's a weed! You really have to try to kill it. Now you can mess up the yeild!
Next time you don't much room try topping it.

Yeah I guess that's true. It's a learning process and I'm enjoying it. Maybe I won't mess up the yield too bad, I'd be happy with any amount really but this LST technique is supposed to help. Okay, I'll remember that! Why do you recommend topping instead of LST? Does it work better or increase the yield even more?

Oh ok. I've never heard of anyone topping that much I don't think. That's cool though. You've got a lot of experience too, which goes a long way, so I'll have to try it next time. I haven't had the chance to talk to many experienced guys and I'm glad that I'm getting to now. Most of the stuff I know has come from books, not actual people. But thanks for the tip. Is there any particular way you do it? Or a certain time to top them? If you want to elaborate that is... I'd love to hear more about it!

Books are good!
I'm on a white widow kick.
I top at third node, then 2nd node, then 1st node. Then I'll go back and do a couple on the first branches. Now I only veg her for 2 or 3 weeks and off to flower and the salt mines! oh I use fem seeds. now. If I'm gonna put that much work into it I want to make sure it's a girl!
Now I'm old school and half the fun of growing to me is planting the seeds and finding the ladies! But went they came up with fem seeds it was better then then invented sliced bread!

Okay cool. I'll definitely give this a try. You only veg for 2 or 3 weeks? I thought it had to be longer than that, or does it just depend on the plant? Yeah I wish I could have gotten some fem seeds but I dunno where to order them from so I just used some from a bag of good bud i had from a while back. I'm gonna try cloning this time I think though so I'll know for sure and like you say I won't have to put all the work into it and it end up a boy! If I knew where to get fem seeds that would be a good idea, so I would also know what strain I had instead of it being random. White widow would be a nice one to try

What happens is, you have a shorter plant. Some people will tell you, you will have less yield, and that is why I top so many times! Easier to care for, more buds, I feel. It's like LST standing up!
