Seven inches to early to flower? Pics

Hey ya'll. I have a late bloomer in my bunch! She is 7 3/8 inches tall and 5 days in flower. Quick question. Anyone actually flower plants this small? I figured I wasn't gonna kill such a beautiful little girl so young in life. So, I kept her and my others and just flowered her at the same time. She's under a 1000w hps with optimal conditions kept at all times. So will I be able to smoke her or is she just hash material? Any guess'?

Ive flowered much smaller than that. It'll flower just fine, and produce the same quality as if it had vegged longer... you just wont get as much off it.

cool! I figured that's how it worked. How small have you went to flower at? What did you get if you don't mind me asking. Just curious.

that thing looks cool I like how bushy it is I say let it veg a few more days and see what she does. I want to see the finished product :D

Ive gone 12/12 from seed, and ive also done clones entirely in 12/12. When you go 12/12 from seed, the plant will still veg for the first few weeks- it wont fower until its ready. I had a couple sprouts sit in my flower room for about 3 weeks before they showed sex.

When you clone at 12/12, they begin fowering as soon as they take root, so you could literally have a 6" nugget growing. My 12/12 clones are about 6" tall with 1 little baby nug on them right now. Its actually kinda funny.

You can flower plants ranging from 6" to 12" to obtain a yield worth obtaining. You can do it probably smaller than that but just increase the number of plants. That is the central theme of the sea of green concept. Grow more smaller plants concentrating your growth to the central cola.

She's not a clone tough. I would of vegged her longer but I don't have a seperate room or light set up. Single harvest set-up. I just through a germinated seed in some soil in a 2 gal bucket and put it in my grow room. I heard soing this will give you a single cola plant with 1-3 oz finished product. Anyone heard of this. I figured why not try it ya know. Be interesting to see it all as one bud. Anyone done this?

Thanks for all the post everyone, I appriciate the help!

Yeah, that's how i get em so bushy, topping and prunning. No scrog or anything though to much maintance for me.

But I thought if you germinated a seed then immediatly started it under 12/12 it would naturally grow one single cola without the need for topping/prunning or anything. I read it does 3-14 days of veg and then starts flowering when the hormones built enough. I thought it naturally grew like that. I've heard it called spearing before.

-Thanks again

yes it will be about 1.5 feet tall with one main cola and minimalbranching. i`ve got some burmese that i`ve done this to right now 4 or 5 weeks into flower

It still depends mainly on the strain. What youre describing is typical indica growth. A sativ strain grown 12/12 from seed wont look like that.

well here`s a shot of my 100% sativa burmese done the 12/12 method. these were clones and as soon as roots showed 12/12 now about 4 or 5 weeks into 12/12. and this is only under 4 20 watt natural daylight flouro`s. these would be bigger under the right light and they had a hard chidhood, dropped and broke

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought too. Hey Bonz, you got a picture of yours? Also, if you do spear grow it and you get additional branches; Is it bad to prune the new branches even though the plant is in flower? I've heard it's bad to mess with em' in flower so I never do unless I have too.

dont want to be doing that during flower. to stressfull for her.
i believe my pic is above this post

Thanks for the posts, Ill get some pictures up of my small female and this spear plant as the harvest ends.

Oh, I measured my 7 inch plant, it's already grown 1 1/4 inches in the 2 days i've been keeping track of her. She's looking narly! Thanks again ya'll
