[Setup] Is this the best way to vent two tents with 1 fan?

I have two 3.5x3.5x6 tents (one for veg, one for flower) that I wish to exhaust with one fan/filter combo (440 cfm 6" fan). I have a wye joint. Is the best method to push into an external carbon filter? I saw one grow that used 1 filter/fan by encasing the filter in a big rubbermaid tote and pushing through it from one end out through a second hole.

I plan on venting this outside through a mesh bug-shield I purchased to fit over my 6" ductwork.

Does anyone have any experience with this (or similar) setup or see any problems with this? Any tips to get me where I need to be would be greatly appreciated.

u be crazy ....sorry punchy

1 what u are talking about doing is possible with a lot of work ....and will not work the way u plan too
most carbon scrubbers are designed to suck in not blow out (what u will do is cause your fan to die faster from over work ...the air will not escape from carbon filter fast enough and cause pressure to build up pushing against the fan making the motor spin harder )

the smartest and most effective thing to do is set up 2 fans of equal speeds then have the wye at the ejection where it all goes out (but u are going to need to account for the length of the ducting and number of bends )
u i say get 2 4 inch 170 cfm fan /carbon filter set from amazon ......use the 4 inch then after the fans use adapter from 4 to 6 ......it should even out nicely on pressure and eject smoothly ....just replace the 2 filters on the front end of the system every 12/15 months no one will smell anything

i let the air flow from the intake hole to veg chamber to flowering chamber then out. Once i had it the opposite way, and a bloody hot day came, one vegging plant collapsed and died, lost me a pheno, flowering plants were not affected, they are in dying mode and can tolerate much more, so lesson learned, i intake cool air into veg, exhaust straight from the ceiling of my flowering room
