setting up ventilation

hello I am going to be buying a grow light kit that comes with a cool hood and a 400W MH and a 400W HPS bulb. I am wondering how I set up the ventilation system with the exhaust fans and inline ducting I'm growing in my closet

it depends on where you want to move air to and from. usually inline fans are used on grow tents or grow boxes. you need a closed space to start with. at this point you could use it to pull fresh air in yr closet down low.

Where do you hope to vent to?

I just need a short ventilation line from the hood to outside of the closet

there isn't any doors. I have the opening covered by black trash bags to keep the light separated.
