Just got some seeds from Serious Seeds. Kail Mist.

The writeups That I've come across say -Kali Mist is arguably the top Sativa strain available on the market today, she is often called the Queen of Sativas. She grows into classical Sativa plants with very few leaves, producing much higher yields than you would expect.
Has anyone have any experience with Serious Seeds or Kali Mist?

Just the smoke and I like it. It's a good strain to share with the ladies.:hump:

Would love to grow some.

10-15 years ago it was the cats meow, not sure if serious still has them old genetics though. Their ak47 is no where near what it used to be.

Ya Kali Mist had its rep way back when it won the cup. I knew a guy who ran it for a number of years and early on it was really good. But it did show some of the strongest genetic drift I have ever seen. After a period of time it just wasn't the same. The potency and vigor fell way off.

I finished their CBD warlock and it was a joy to grow... very vigorous and forgiving. It has passed a CBD detection for greater than 2.5%. Great smoke... Did you get them from seedsherenow?

I got the seeds from Oregon Elite seeds.

I prefer Sativa smoke, even though they take longer and grow taller(a bit harder to deal with in an indoor tent environment).

The write-up on the Kali mist claims 14 cup wins including a couple wins in 2018. One of the reasons I got them was the multiple wins. Most cup winners are not sold to us private, home growers, but kept in house for their own use.

I smoked a lot of it, knew a guy that ran it for years he might still run it. His buds weren’t very dense but all his strains (only had a couple) were like that. I think maybe he used light movers. But the quality was good. I’d be interested to see how the newer stock from sense turns out so keep us updated

I would never base my grows on cup winners. I am sure you are aware of the "politics" involved and many cup winners are more popularity based than they are quality based.

completely agree with this statement..
saying that, a fine farmer friend of mine had some kali mist gifted to him via another fine farmer friend of ours, and it's hands down one of his favorite strains.. i happened to sample a bowl or two of it and thought it was very nice as well.. very sativa like in it's effects, clear headed, motivational high.. not sure if what my buddy had or smoked was from serious seeds or not tbh, but it was some nice smoke..

I also agree.
This is the 1st "cup winner" I have grown.

My process for getting Kali mist...
1 Need to start a new grow and am out of seeds
2 Must be a feminized seed as I only grow 2 plants and need 2 plants to meet my needs
3 I like sativa, and do not grow the really strong stuff as I don't like to be stoned as much as high
4 Oregon Elite has always delt with me straight and above board.
5 They had Kali mist, A feminized sativa dominant seed.
6 as I researched it, I saw the cup wins, after the choice was already made.
7 Never tried to grow a cup winner before. Hoping for ??? something special, I guess
