Anybody ever started a grow in hydro system and transplanted to a soil for the sake of establishin a mother. Is this possible?

why not just take a cutting into soil to establish a mum?

Would think it mostly depends on how much root mass you got too.You can trim some if need be,but i wouldn't go all edward scissor hands on them.

For to survive, have yo' superthrive. That's how I do it. You can reverse plant it, put the end into a hollowed out soil pot and just keep putting a mix of perlite and sand and crushed peat moss around the roots til it covers them, that'll give them a lot of mobility I would think to re-establish themselves.
