Serious Cloning Issues

So im having a terrible time with the success rates of my clones. Im getting about 25 % id say. Ive read a lot and tried most of what ive read. Still no success. I used to grow bagseed at 1st and had 0 trouble rooting clones, but this WW is really being a pain.

WW from nirvana.
Humidity dome with heat mat.
83 degrees in the closet. Idk the dome's temp
peat pellets
schultz grow root hormone
2x 4 foot Floros about 18 inches above clones

The only thing i can think of is that they arent getting enough air inside the dome. Yet i mist id say 6 times a day while im awake. How often does the air need "changed" inside the dome?

Any suggestions maybe? Im lost lol.

For the last 4 months ive wasted about 8 feet of growing area due to this problem :(

Sounds like the temps a little high, you want the dome to be around 72-74
degrees and the root environment to be around 80... with Humidity at 90%+
that should do you good.....

In my no hands approach, i have a clone tray, with the clone tray insert for
the seperate clone sites and the dome. Fill the bottom of the tray with water
and 3-4 mL of H2O2 so it would just BARELY touch the clone sites, then place
the clone site tray in there and place your clones in there, spray the inside
of the dome with water, NOT THE PLANTS never spray the plants, this is
stressful, place the clone dome on top turn on the heatmat to 80degrees
turn on a cfl about a foot away from the plants and leave for 7 days... DO NOT TOUCH
because everytime you touch the clones you interrupt their cellular process
which is very delicate, every vibration on the clones is a setback.... good luck

Great advice brother,

Might I add,

A drop of Superthrive per gallon of water will send em into root stage fast.

Ive experimented with cloning throughout the years, and the best way Ive found is a dwc bubbler.

Within 48 hours i see them nubs..

And about 3-4 days later roots everytime.

One more thing,
I always add a touch of rooting powder(hormone) to the water that you bathe the rockwool in.

Or in my case the reservoir water.

Good luck :)

Nothin beats an aero/bubble cloner :-)

Thanks for the quick replys. I just checked the humidity dome temp and it was 92. So i turned down the heater some and ill see what happens. Also ordered a small bottle of superthrive. Hope it helps. :)

But on another note ive decided to make a bubblecloner anyways. Heres a link to the one i wanted to make.

So i dip the cut in hormone like normal AND add hormone to the res and set the bottom inch of the plant in the water?
