seperate veg/flower areas

Hey so I have been pondering setting up different rooms... do you guys do flowering rooms with 12/12 hps light and veg room with mh light and shorter nights?
Right now I am using a 400w mh to veg and then switching to 400w hps to flower, I also have a 1,000w. problem is I'm flowering in a tent that will get too hot with the 1,000 until I get some 4" ducting for it.
Anyways what kind of setups do you guys have for veg areas and flowering areas? tents? rooms?

I took a room and split it with black plastic. so far it has worked out. you could call my flower area a 4x6 tent.

i have a 4x4x8 room with a 3' veg room, and the 5' flower room on top. it's seperated by a piece of OSB with a liner on it (to prevent mold/rot) with like 10 brackets underneath it holding it up (to support weight of buckets and flowers)

wow thats creative, what do you mean by OSB I am intrigued.

are you able to walk on top of the divider to access the plants?
