I have 4 m.o.b.s going right now, 1 blue dream and a super lemon haze, i Just finished my blue mystic grow..frostiest bud ive ever seen..

Hey Dubba,
By chance did you post any pics of your grow this time? I followed the last one and was wondering if this was a cfl grow?
I am just getting my plants to the stage where i am identifying male and female, and am flowering my first plants under cfl.

Good luck, I'd be interested to know how that works out. I have used homemade silver colloid (same thing?) successfully a couple of times, but not with the MOB. It reversed no problem, but every pollen sac was empty.
Any more progress with selfing MOB? I was thinking of crossing my MOB with sannies Jackberry to create some seeds. I think most of the great traits of MOB should stick around.

I haven't attempted it again. When my plant did the exact same thing as another guy's who was trying at the same time I gave it up. Might try again though.

Did you use the technique of making cs with 3 nine volt batteries hooked together, then attached to pure silver wires stuck in the water, (on youtube)? Looks pretty simple.

It's a really long thread lol. The explanation of how to do it is in the beginning, and not too far in is an explanation of why it works. Cool stuff.l
Holy shit long!
But, very informative. Im placing an order through Sannies tomorrow. Im going to get that jackberry and try the cs after i find a suitable female. Then (if it mans up) I'll collect pollen for a mob. Seem that trying it the other way (cs on mob) is a waste of time from your experience. Did you try any pollen of any of the other strains you grew on mob yet?

No I haven't. But I did grow some seeds and they were exactly like the parents. Better, even. The plants seemed more robust, better yield. It's like it rejuvenated the genetics without changing them.

Did you get to the part where you can sort of check your colloid? It's using a laser pen and it's called the Tyndall Effect for the guy who discovered it.
Non-distilled water is going to have impurities, metals and minerals in it. If you fill a clear glass with it and shine the laser through, you will see the beam in the water (how clearly depends on the amount of minerals in the water). Now try it with distilled water. With no metals or minerals to reflect off of, there is no beam. Then try it after making your colloid.

I'm going to look around for an old charger. Have the jar, maybe even the clips, just need the silver and water.

I got like 3 feet of 18ga .999 silver for about $15 at a jewelry supply store in Portland. They don't have it at places like AC Moore.
