Hey whats up guys, first and foremost i would like to say thank you for the help you have already provided and helping me get my plant to where it is today. Well I am getting close to harvesting my plant and i have a question. Ok, well I know that if i want to smoke my weed i have to harvest but i don't want to cut the whole plant down. I would initially like to keep it alive till next year. I have most of my colas lolly-popped and i don't see why the whole plant has to go, it seems like a waste. I have researched some different styles of pruning on different types of plants and have a general idea, its just that its my first time attempting this so i would feel more comfortable having a guiding light from some one that has the experience i lack. Be my cherry in the haze :joint: Peace

I haven't done that myself, but a buddy of mine claims his dad did this in the long-long ago. He planted a sativa, and instead of riping it up he just cut the buds off the plant and walked away. When he went out the next spring to get his grow area ready, that same plant was still there and producing leaves and bud. My bud claims he was able to harvest off it for several years, but it hermied something fierce. I don't know if you are doing an indoor or outdoor grow, but I have also heard of multiple harvests off one plant from indoors as well; the biggest issue is that the longer the plant goes past its first flower, the more likely it is to turn herm. Of course, Dutch Masters Reverse was made for just that sorta thing.
