Seeing signs of mites( tiny brown bugs underneath leaves)

I’m noticing these small black/brown dots under my plant leaves I’m currently in week 2 flower so I hear I shouldn’t use neem oil. I was thinking about washing the plants with a hose and spraying the leaves with a 1-9 ration of alcohol to water let me know what you guys think. Trying to catch it before it possibly ruins my harvest!

Try and get a close up picture and you hopefully someone has your answer. I really can’t see em but I am on a cell phone.

Hard to say. A macro shot would be helpful. Are there white spots on the leafs as well? My first glimpse looks like early stages of mites but I can't see well enough to give you an answer

Naw man they are under the leaves this is the damage my plants have from it, pretty sure it’s mites I just can’t find much on what to use for them during early flower before they get too out of hand and potentially ruin the crop come 6-7 more weeks

That’s exactly what they are very microscopic underneath leaves I’m just not sure how to fight them off since I just started flower and a lot of sprays aren’t recommended?

You got some white things on top of the leaves, could be aphids. I hurt my neck trying to look under the leaves :cuss:
Yeaa im thinking spider mites they are veryyyy tiny almost unnoticeable anything I can use to help get rid of them early flower before it gets out of hand?

Citric acid spray should be fine. I want to say I heard it from @kratos015 , but I'm a stoner and could be wrong.

Maybe give them some Ca too. What water are you using?

I used hot shots no pest strips with great results, but its toxic and said to cause cancer.
Some members highly recommend citric acid (2 Tsp\quart of water), could be used in flower and is considered safe.

Hmm I’m gonna have to look into this citric acid spray I hear some talk about a 1-9 alcohol to water ratio to kill off the mites but some people say it can damage leaves…Maybe if its not diluted enough but I’m about to research into this citric acid spray

Flying Skull is made by Nuke em and is citric acid and safe to use in flower. Do you have a grow shop you can buy product like this? If i were you I'd try and solve this ASAP, bugs multiply quickly. Meaning, if store bought is quicker than home made, buy it. Gl

I do have one off in town I think I’m gonna ride by there today and have a look, think I’m gonna give the citric spray a go as idk how I really feel about spraying my ladies with alcohol if I’m honest although I have done it before

Flying skull is good shit, basically the same thing. 3 weeks into flower I would not worry about the alcohol. There is a chance that it will burn your plants leafs a little if you don't use soap, but leafs are damaged all the time in nature by bugs, wind, animals etc, the plants can handle it.

If it were me, I would probably use some Live Predator mites to get rid of the spider mites, I wouldn't use any chemicals on my plants. Chemicals can result in a harsher smoke come harvest time.
