Seeing crystals but how long left till harvest..

This is my first grow, plants are growing outside in garden. Dnt know what strain they are but I believe they are DP Would like to know how long you think is left, any help will be appreciated 8)485.jpg dp.jpg

The best way to know when to cut is to look at the glands with a 60x handheld microscope.

Once they start turning from milky to amber, I chop. Most strains will go for at least 8 weeks after the first sign of flowering. Some take as much as 12.

Thx, I looked at them under a magnify glass and they look white but not sure if they milky, have just ordered a microscope of ebay

Here is a full plant pic, I started germination on 1st June so they did not have much time to veg which is why I think they are not so big, Over here in durban the spring starts in October so I think my next batch should be planted then and hopefully they wont flower until winter,,DSC0334v.jpg
 
Once the days get long enough, it will revert back to vegging. No idea when that point will come for you, though.. You may need to setup a light deprivation greenhouse or something.
 
Make it have shorter days by covering it up with something that will block the light if you want it to continue flowering.GL

I may have to do just that , you wouldnt happen to know the variation of daylight time before it triggers itself back into veg.
 
A plant will start flowering with 13-14 hours of daylight ( hence people flipping to 12/12 for flower ). Quite honestly, with your climate, I'd be growing auto-flowers since they will flower automatically at a certain age NOT depending on a light cycle. Just my opinion.

Thx, but I just did some reading on auto flowers and they dnt grow very big as they have a short life span. As I live in Durban, would it not make sense to grow Durban Poison as that would be its natural enviroment and the climate and light will be perfect...
