Seedsman Seeds

I was under the impression perhaps wrongly that seedsman actually does contract breeding for others, which would make sense as I see similar products, so same genetic listing, at other breeders, usually for much more money.

Seedsman isn't a breeder. They are a collection of breeders. I know sam the skunkman makes a lot of their seeds, and they used to have a lot of relabeled flying dutchman before they were bought out by sensi. I know they sell a lot of seeds to other seedbanks to be used as freebies. Herbies and sea of seeds use them a lot. I have grown a few of their strains. I liked the indian haze, it was one of the more unique plants I have grown. It was a real pain in the ass to grow though. The widow was solid. High yielder of B grade weed. The hash passion turned into a tower of grey mold and ended up in my garbage. I just picked up a pack of the sugar haze, but haven't had room for them yet. I have some widow x skywalker and widow x casey jones I am curious about that were free, but I am going to hold out to see if someone else grows them first and posts a report.

Ive done the f/white widow from seedsman for 4 years now.easy to grow.. good buds (not huge& super tight) but usually white...
tons of trics, always super stinky.Ive done them indoor.. in the woods .. & in the yard. My indoor by far had the most trics... but outdoors more buds... seedsman ww is my 1 strain every1 asks for.

also got the sleestack x skunk as a freebee last year...grew like 7 or 8 ft & that was after lst.good buds...up high. Smelled like lemon. Made good hash. may get it again in the future for indoors.
Nice comment.

Ive run the Slee skunk, Was one hell of a yielder, Also run most of the others he as like WW, Skunk#1 Skunk/haze
Hash passion, Pot of gold, and a few others, Pics on here someplace..

Only strain I would have siad was not worth the money and did not have that good results was Hash passion. Bit to dull for me.
Grew nice and yielded fast but the smoke was bit dull.
As you mentioned his widow is the best probably.

Breeders running now are Bodhi, Ace, Sensi, a home breeders gear, and seedsman. Having seen some good seedsman grows I thought why not take a shot?[/QUOTE]
Ever run anything from female seeds ? Or try making your own fems ? Im feminizing buddha purple kush auto next up . Then tutankhamon from pyramid seeds then cali blackberry kush !!! If you like sativas try tutankhamon from pyramid seeds 22-33% thc

Can't say I really have any interest in feminized beans to be honest. I started off on fems on the whole "OG" chase and quickly lost interest in both. For one, OG are everywhere and as much as I do love them, there is other excellent cannabis out there. And with feminized beans, I always felt like I'm being limited in a way. I'm not against them, I just don't really seek them out. Now I kinda wish I'd grabbed fem Malawi beans, but that's simply due to the fact I'm growing in limited space and the strain takes 14-18 weeks.

I have a few female seeds I've collected from the freebies. Heard good things too about some of their gear.

Good luck on your crossings. Just know that you won't get all auto traits in the offspring. Personally, I wouldn't dilute good cannabis genetics with unwanted hemp traits, but it's fun to cross things. I've got a couple projects I'd like to start, but I kinda wanna have more space and be more familiar with my starting genetics so I can anticipate desirable traits in future offspring crosses.

I'll have to check that out. Definitely keep me in the loop of how your project goes, good or bad, there is always something new to learn! I'd be interested to see how those auto crosses work out.

Uhhhh......what?
Lol, I simply like seeing people's work is all. Not like I'd ever grow them! I do think they are mostly useless from a growers perspective but to each their own. I honestly can't think of any situation I'd want to smoke an auto or grow one every again.

I'm curious to see the rate the auto gene shows up in a cross. Plus gives me something to think about as to what undesirable traits may be related to that specific gene or genes.

Plus if someone's doing something I have no interest in doing, I can at least see what they are up to. I know I'm proud of what I do and like to show off. Part pride and part adding to the collective knowledge pool of this board as well as the Internet. I'm sure so do others.

Definitely got enough of those sleeskunks to do a nice run of 'em, I actually started taking feminized seeds for the freebies at seedsman because I liked their genetics better, mainly the skywalker og x white widow and og kush x white widow, because I have also seen and heard good things about seedsman's white widow. Mostly been waiting for my 4th of july replacement order to get here (fingers crossed) to see what I'm going to start next.

I actually got them on accident. I thought I chose regular beans but somehow it reverted to fems once I signed in to checkout.

I have so many fem beans from orders. I suppose a few are worth while but with so many other genetics I actually want to run, those fem beans are unlikely to get popped unless I need a filler or I am bored

FWIW - I tossed 2 freebee autos in cheap potting soil out back 1st of April - FS Speed Auto - didn't go near them again, not even to water [fear of carrying bugs back in that might infiltrate the good grow].....really didn't care if they lived or not, but both finished with what I'd guess to be about 7 grs each. I trimmed and let them dry right where they were chopped, then bagged them, and gave to an amigo w/o him knowing what they were. I didn't sample either. Of course, he loved it - wants more...lol. He compared it to 'that orange plant that you said didn't taste like orange'. No joke.

Lol sometimes people just don't have a palate for good cannabis. I have a good friend who was bragging about some C99 his friend grows. Granted this friend is literally sitting on lbs. Doesn't smoke much and won't sell for reasonable prices in the mitten. I think part of the reason my friend was so hyped about it was because of the exclusivity the grower/friend created in his narrative.

So we pack a bowl, and while not bad, I don't think it was that great. Kinda lackluster high, grown well, and cured but it was all bag appeal at the end of the day. By the end if the night his ass was so high, he crashed on my couch. Mission accomplished! I felt bad, he paid $75 for a quarter for something that just wasn't that great.

I'm a snob. I have no problem giving as well as taking criticism. Hell I'm hard on myself. I know (most of the time) where I made a mistake and always strive to get it right.

Made two mistakes recently. Not controlling heat and small pots with over vegged white lotus caused some non sensi bud. I did pluck a nanner or two off of one of the heat stricken White Lotus that grew up into the light. Plus I killed the lemon zinger a week before harvest...one fucking week, all the work tossed to the hash pile.

We all make mistakes, I just hope to learn from mine and others.

I had a re-ship on my 4'th order too. They must have ran out of some of the freebies. I ended up getting more seeds though, and they gave me freebies from the same breeders that I placed the order for...plus they threw in an extra pair of their OG Kush (fem) seeds too. You'll probably get the same four 2-packs of seedsman gear that I got
