Seeds

its been a seedy summer for me I grew some autos outside they all went to seed. Then now my current indoor grow has me thinking that some how they became pollinated. Would be devasted to throw it all out at this points is it worth growing it the next four weeks. Then just make bubble hash out of the whole crop. Fuck it, your already that close might as well finish and have some smoke. A few seeds ain’t no big deal to pick out.

I would take a look at your environment and probably your nute lineup/mix for your next run though.

You need to do a solid walkthrough of your grow room. Inspect every plant. I’d say you’ll find that some of those ladies have grown balls and pollinated your crop inside. Then, the pollen has exhausted outside and pollinated your autos.

Let this grow finish and do what you want with the material. Afterwards, clean everything top to toe with bleach and find out why those plants hermied (I.e. light leaks, errors in photoperiod, late training etc.).

Buy new seeds and start again. Personally, I like to buy regular seeds and find a nice female to clone. This means I know how every plant will express in flower and there is less chance of hermies.

I’m not trying to start a reg/fem debate, just my preference. Everyone has their own for their own growing environment.

Good luck!

Totally agree on regular seeds.

Had this same thing happen to me; it took a long time to recover from. Honestly the first thing you gotta do is figure out why your plants are stressed. Could be light leaks or an interrupted dark cycle, timer/equip problem, or high temps. What Hotrod and Stinky jones are saying is legit. Reg seeds are much more resilient to stuff like this.
Making concentrate is probably your best bet; but the yield is gonna suck no matter what. I would let this grow finish up and then clean up and start over with some quality genetics from a reputable breeder.

LED stress is my guess along with heat. RIU has a boatload of posts with various problems and using LED too closely. 12"-18" and "it's not hot i checked it" added in.
Wow, I wasn’t aware of this! I’m running a Mars Hydro 1600 over this beast. She’s 4ft in diameter at 6 weeks and those centre buds are only about 12” from the lamp. I’m a DE HPS guy, but I had this thing and they seem to be a love/hate relationship. I saw a video of one guy throwing one in a dumpster! In a few weeks I guess I’ll decide its fate. This is just a little side experiment tucked in the corner of my room in a 5x5. 45 gallon no-till.

I can attest to this. I pressed 20g of 6 week old ‘91 Pure Kush and yield about 1g of rosin. On a 12 tonne press, not my mr’s hair straightener.

I'm looking forward to the day prices on quality LED are reasonable. Including the components for a build. It is the future or a big part of it.

I read through and I’m sweet, other than the potentially inferior product! I guess it was the best of the blurples in its day (2015? don’t quote me here) so it’s only fair I give her a run.

I am guessing 300g dry (0.5g p/w) is achievable and allegedly respectable.

Sorry for hijacking your thread here OP, but this is all useful info for you.

Thank you!
Check one of my plants. Edges slightly up. Usually heat stress. It's under an air cooled reflector, temperature is 65 at canopy height, and it's well within working height even without a reflector . 65% RH. Heat is never an issue yet edges up. My only thought is it's an overdose of light at this stage of bloom.

It's a false belief they can absorb all the light you can throw at them. It's like taking a guy and putting one giant steak dinner after another endlessly in front of him and trying to force it into him. Before they call an ambulance .

D3EDD81C-5C9F-4652-9A0F-59217BEEB48E.jpeg I talked to my old neighbor grower from way back says is not worth my time. So I’m going to chop them down.

Yeah it’s clearly a case of I vegged too. Not used to dwc I only vegged it for 4 weeks one more week then my first grow. Then once my light was at the top of the tent by the end of their stretch I had to bend abunch over. Then the top of my canopy under my 1000watt hps was getting to hot around 34. It’s a air cooled hood but a cheap one with a lot of leaks. Does anyone have any experience with the cool tubes? Was thinking of maybe going that route.

As you can see in the picture they grew way to close to my lights :( lesson learnt.

I got two mother plants a gorilla glue got it as a reveg clone it’s a little ball of weird leaves and a Dutch treat from crop kings grew it in soil my first grow ever and liked it. they are a couple weeks from ready, so I was thinking of cracking some of the feminized seeds that I got. What’s the best way to transfer a seed to hydro I heard Rockwool isn’t the best. That’s all I got at the moment

You exceed what marijuan can take in light?

If not the answer is plant health problem not light.

Ditched air cooled shades the second i learnt it does zero for cooling light and ir radiation. Im under the assumption they are pretty pointless, join the bare bulb growers.

If it reaches 34°c under a 1000watt at top of the canopy then pull that thermometer all the way to the side out from under the light and see if thats better :-)

Too much light at the end of bloom. If not heat. No issues other than some blanched tips from nitrogen in veg. You caxn bleach the damned things. It is very possible to force too much light.
